NICE

Javier *chicarito* Hernandez is sick! that mexican has scoring talent right there. So hungry for goal! Man U might just become my fav team over barca if he blows up and gets alot of playing time

What happened to Diouf?
I don't follow Man U much but I remember seeing him score in some game and doing a flip celebration.
He hasn't appeared that much for Man U and scoring a goal can't be that bad.
Making history not reliving it.

Maybe he'll be good idk, hes scored one goal so far when he came on as sub in a blowout game at home. It was a decent goal where he just headed the ball past the goalkeeper when the keeper came out of the box. I think the fact that even with Rooney injured, Diouf hasn't appeared on the bench once is indicative of his lack of progress so far.

diouf isn't supposed to be good this season.. him even having gotten playtime is surprising to norwegians. he's a guy with a whole lot of potential, he's super quick and great at jumping, and that's enough to possibly turn him into gold when he gets to train for a year or two for united.

Problem is I doubt he will even get a chance. Manucho was shipped off after half a season despite doing well in practice and playing a great African Nations Cup.

To be fair, Manucho didn't really fare that well on loan at Hull and I recall that he also had disciplinary problems which could be a factor as to why he was shipped out. Feel free to correct me though, I don't follow united.

Its absolutely retarded to compare leagues because few games. Excemple the motivation level must have been really really huge in Juve - Fulham game. I dont think anyone seriously think Fulham is better...

In 2 game legs, not always the better team goes through thx for lucky bounces, bad refing, unlucky injuries, gay-ass away goal rule etc etc...

In my opinion, La liga = EPL > Serie A > Bundesliga. La Liga and EPL are very much the same, with both only 2 really title challengers (Real M/Barca and Chelsea/ManU). Neither Arsenal or Liverpool have any chance in a long run, same goes for Sevilla, Valencia etc.

I disagree. Barca/Real's dominance won't be ended for a very long time. I just can't see those two teams out of the top2 in the next five years. EPL on the other hand had a dominating Liverpool finishing #2 last season (by two points IIRC, really bad luck). And Arsenal once they can avoid all those injuries are serious title challengers. Especially with ManUtd and Chelsea squad getting very old.

Liverpool are going backwards pretty quickly due to their large debt. If Man C made a good enough bid for Gerrard and/or Torres I can't see Liverpool's owners saying no and then it's mid-table mediocrity for them. Man C will take Liverpool's spot as the 4th "big" team in the EPL.

i wonder how liverpool supporters would react if they sold gerrard to mancity

If Gerrard leaves Liverpool I would lose a lot of respect for him. Not that I have much to begin with (he's english) but still.

i think it would be a great financial move to move Gerrard for Liverpool and let's face it, he hasn't been playing well this season at all and he's always injured. If you look at his body language, he doesn't even seem to want to play.

I don't know if he's saving his form for England, but i think selling Gerrard now would be a good move for liverpool

It would be the ultimate proof that PL is ruled by money gloating soulless idiots. Roma would never under any circumstance sell Totti, Maldini stayed in Milan during his entire career, Del Piero went with Juve to Serie B. Gerrard is Liverpool's talismanic icon, fuck them if they sell him. There is more to football than money and silverware. =/

Most team are ruled by money. Looks at countries like Poland, Romania, turkey, Portugal, Sweden - These countries have mediocre leagues and most players see these teams as stepping stones. These teams try to find young talent and develop the players so they can be sold to top Euro teams. The leagues will rarely progress because all the top players are sold out.

A lot of top end teams are like this too. ManU has many old players that have been on the team for 10+ years but some players they have more worth being sold. They sold Ronaldo for $80 mil to Madrid where hes rotting.... Madrid thought they'd make all the money back by getting far in the champions league - worked out too well for them. Fans will always respect players that are tied to team their entire career but money is money...

ronaldo is far from 'rotting' at madrid, in fact he has for the most part been in extremely good form. you could say that kaka has been rotting maybe, but not for ronaldo, not at all.

the champions league exit was not his fault either, higuain basically missed two free goals and turned the game against them.

More like torres/Reina deserve a better team(gerrard included). Having a mostly mediocre team does not excuse gerrard for playing half assed. Anyways Gerrard is 30ish? No point leaving now.
