Theo was alright, but he was one of those rookies who could only play 15-20 min a game before fouling out.
The main defender on Wall left Stack out to dry, but that's partially because IT'S JOHN WALL. Kid is going to be an absolute beast. All he needs is 3pt range and a coach to teach him defense.

Oh wow that kid is a fucking monster. gonna hit his head on the rim if he's not careful jesus. Of course callipari already recruited him lol.
Seriously. I mean, obviously I have a thing for PGs anyways, but he's long 6-4 with elite speed, can go either direction and finish any way he wants, plus great vision/passing and seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Now imagine if he had a great mid-long game. How do you guard that?

That main defender is the second ranked PG for 2010 on Rivals.
I'll get to see John Wall this year at Kentucky in person, personally I think he's going to be overrated, and UK won't reach the Final Four, but that's college basketball and not NBA :D

Trap, and rotate, in his face defense outside, 4vs1 inside the plane, and rotate when he ditch out. zone defense is needed for this kind of mad gosu

Seriously, while he's playing against solid competition at this level, Kemba Walker (starting PG for UConn) also had similar highlights and he certainly isn't dropping things like that at the college level.
But Callipari's style of play fits people like him, so it'll be fun to see him go to work in that system.
But enough about college ball, JR Smith, the future Rasheed Wallace of the NBA?

Nice, you going to UK right?! Man there is almost nothing to do in Lexington, thats pretty general in all of Kentucky. I live in Louisville, it's pretty boring.
But for those John Wall videos, he is a beast but I wish they would show him shooting more.
Wayyy too many posts to go through for me but I'll put this out there... Clippers actually have a chance at going to the playoffs. Call me whatever you like but... There are many reasons why they were a 19 win team last year. Some are... Bad coaching, injury plagued team, no chemistry and a losing mentality. These following teams are sure to be returning to the western conf. playoffs. LAL, Portland, Dallas, San Antonio and Denver. Unless all their stars go through some sort of major injury that seems pretty solid. There are going to be some drop offs in the playoffs next year with some teams fighting for the last few spots and I predict those teams that will be fighting are the Suns, Hornets, Utah and Houston.
Now a look at the starting lineup you get: Baron Davis, Eric Gordon, Al Thornton, Blake Griffin, Chris Kaman. Now with this lineup you get an ex-all star point guard, a very promising sophomore scorer in eric gordon (with from what i heard pretty good defense), an okay player in Al Thornton (Athletic, can make his own shots but takes more than he should), the first pick of the draft Blake Griffin (has great hustle but may get him injured someday), and a... crazy center in Kaman (he can be either a GREAT CENTER or the injury plagued center that i saw last year). Then you get some decent reserves which are: Marcus Camby (Defensive player of the Year 2006-2007), Sebastian Telfair, Steve Novak (Amazing shooter but can't create his own shot if his life depended on it) and DeAndre Jordan (7 ft power player that has shown major improvement since his last season). They have some other decent backups but those are the main ones. They do seem to be very thin at the SG and SF positions though. The clippers have suddenly become one of the leagues youngest and most talented teams (on paper)
With Mike Dunleavy stating that this season he'll run the ball more often to give Baron Davis some control to the old system in which he used to love over at Golden State I believe this year can be great and we might even make a playoff appearance. If not this year, I hope/expect to see the Clipps in the playoffs soon.
Yes, i am a clipper fan and yes i am very biased :l.
Instead of practicing here is what our potential star center is doing...

He did have some argument though...
But Blake was hurt a while back during the USA team training camp, not sure if he will be an important piece to their team though, their roster is not bad on paper.

No, I live in Lexington, but don't go to school here. I personally hate UK Basketball namely because of the fans who are like all overzealous country hicks when it comes to their "beloved" program, like I have never met a fan base as dedicated and as asshole-ish as UK's. The person who's words are scrutinized the most are the head coach's, like Obama has a better chance of saying something and not have it quoted out of context than the UK head coach.
As for the Clippers, they do have a chance, I genuinely hope they make it for the players and fanbase, but on the other hand, I hope they don't because the ownership is so fucked up that they deserve to wallow in their own shit.

...Seriously, the ONLY two guys on the Clippers I'd look at if I wanted to take a team to the playoffs are Eric Gordon and Marcus Camby. They really have no shot at making it. None. something devastating would have to happen to another WC team for them to get in.

Ok here are your reasons for why the Clippers were fucking HORRIBLE last year.
Yes, i am a clipper fan and yes i am very biased :l.
Absolutely nothing of what you said gets rid of: a) bad coaching (Mike Dunleavy has been, and will always be a terrible coach), b) no chemistry... the "no chemistry" implies that where was literally NO chemistry on that team (factual). so basically, you have the exact same team (with basically a trade of Randolph for Griffin). chemistry might be better, but there still will probably be no chemistry. c) losing mentality... why would that change? they're all fucking depleted, depressed, losers. why would that change?
there would have to be some kind of freak miracle for them to make the playoffs.
Yes, Mike Dunleavy isn't too well looked upon as a coach, even by the Clipper fans but he has promised a little up tempo style of play that Baron used to thrive in. Dunleavy is however a pretty good GM considering how he basically traded two aging players (Mobley, Thomas for the fat contract of Zach Randolph and actually finding someone to talk the contract of their hands for 2 decent young players and 1 crappy one.) The chemistry has been fixed with the removal of Zach Randolph which is seen by many as a plague in the locker room (they almost added A.I. after getting rid of him which probably would have messed up the chemistry that needs to develop). In addition to the loss of Randolph, the Clippers gained a hustle man who has seemed to have been a positive influence on some of the other players. Ever since Blake Griffin came to the Clippers, sophomore backup center DeAndre Jordan has shown improvement and a healthier eating diet. As for your C, some players give up a season after they see it isn't going their way. Many fans believe that is what happened to Baron Davis and as they criticized his play most of the time throughout the season. Plus with all the changes that the Clippers have had this off-season I believe that its our brightest. WAYYYY brighter than last year when Elton Brand ditched us. Baron Davis said he had wanted to play with Elton and that was one of the main reasons why he went to LA (other was that it was his hometown). Basically what i'm saying is after an off-season as bad as last years, things can't any worse than that. and with the way our off-season has gone... winning the lottery, dumping contracts and seeing major improvement of Eric Gordon's driving game and DeAndre's new post moves... I'm JUST EXCITED!!!! haha
I knew this would be hard as hell to defend my position and i'm doing my best to come back with at least something usable.
But Blake was hurt a while back during the USA team training camp, not sure if he will be an important piece to their team though, their roster is not bad on paper.
Blake was actually hurt during the summer league with 2 games to go i think and he played through that. He however didn't participate in the camp due to the shoulder injury.

Dude, you're borderline delusional. Here's a tasty summation of the Clippers' history written by my favorite sport's writer, Bill Simmons. Read it and weep.

Utah is in the 1st group to my mind, and might as well cross Houston off the 2nd list. A full season without Yao and T-mac will be painful.
