I'm actually pretty close to fcing it too, just need to get a little faster so I can single tap that Corrosion type of pattern before I think the last chorus. | ||

I played online with someone close to my rank recently, and when playing Hard diffs we were pretty close in skill, but I completely destroyed him when it came to anything harder than your average hard map, and It just kinda reminded me how little rank mattered lol. I also can't understand why anyone would not try to improve, because if they're good enough to go toe to toe with me on a hard, they should be able to play something harder than that :/ Also, That story posted earlier reminded me about when I started playing. The hardest map I had back then was http://osu.ppy.sh/s/18958 (Halo Glare), and I sucked so hard at it. But I kept trying and eventually got to the pint where I could actually try to pass the Into the Dark diff. I played that so many times trying to pass it, and eventually managed to pass it. It become my absolute favorite map for a long time, and then I stopped playing it. Coming back now I realize that that diff is probably the best made diff in that map... But it's too easy now, lol. I think I can FC it in DT with a bit of practice. Also, lol. I decided to play the Halo in Nightfall (Easy) diff of Halo Glare with DT and HR, and got this: ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/Tqys0.png) SO CLOSE TO TOP 40, lol. It was actually pretty fun too. I tried flashlight, but I couldn't FC it. After a couple tries I think I could prolly FC it with DT/HR/FL. | ||

As for that story, it was interesting to read. For now, http://osu.ppy.sh/b/31488&m=0 (Demetori - Necrofantasia (Crazy30 diff)) would be my "goal" for now. I have been surprised when I played some 4-4,5 star songs, everything seems slower but I still suck. Edit: Maybe I should focus on easier maps. | ||

I stopped playing osu for about three months due to a bad wrist condition, but started playing again for owc. I'm a patriot in that sense I guess lol | ||

If your not first try fcing anything below 4.8 with ease then it will probably be a while before you can pass that song. I'd suggest playing a map that's still very hard, but actually helps you improve. | ||
