I still don't like PP, due to peppy still not releasing info on the specifics. As far as I'm concerned if he found a truly unfarmable solution, he could release all the details he wanted and it wouldn't matter. But my assumption is that it is still farmable in some way... that, or peppy is just being a dickbag like he usually is. | ||

I jumped ~500pp when I did that (from rank ~5800 to ~2800). It doesn't take a lot of skill, just a lot of patience. Note that there's a HUGE difference when it comes to where you rank in the top40. Getting rank 4 99.41% accuracy got me +~300pp compared to my previous rank 21 score. When I improved that to rank 2 (tied for 1st) 100% accuracy I jumped up another ~200pp. The difference in their scores was only 20,000 points. | ||

You should try it with hidden, i actually have an easier time reading sliders with hid, they light up conviniently when you need to hit them! I decided to take some shots at those AR10 OD8.6 HR'd insanes, really like HR but i can only do AR7+HR smoothly now. So heres the results. Prototype., definitely a well known figure in the osu community, as well as the TL osu community, has called me out as a cheater(hacker?), and let me tell you, it's 100% true. I respect this figure highly, and want to come clean through this. I'll let you be the judge of whether or not i'm a bad person or not. If TL decides that I'm not fit for this community, I'll quietly leave. To start this off, I'm going to state that at one point of this game, I was a newbie (orly?). Of course, doing what noobs do, I was just enjoying the game for the nice gameplay, good music, etc, and I didn't really have any care in the world what stats were, how the rankings told of player's skill(not really I guess) and that I wanted to be FCing lots and lots of maps. Of course at some point later on, seeing pros at the top 40 rankings of songs intrigued me, and it was awesome that they were playing really fast and getting high ranked. Though not really trying to be competitive, one of my friends (not TL user) was doing what a typical asian nerdy kid does (no offense to anyone, I'm one of them) was finding out ways to cheat(hack) in osu, ways such as + Show Spoiler + Force Relax(ranked), Slow down the song to certain %(working with double time/hard rock) To my dismay, months later, the top 40 records have stayed up, many people seeing the replays of the maps that I cheated on, Misaka Misaka+ Show Spoiler + I don't know if this will come out as being overly dramatic or whatnot, but I will tell you these are my greatest regrets in my Osu career. If you deem this to be unfair, I agree, it was overly stupid on my part, even just thinking of using cheats in a competitive game setting. Though completely unacceptable, I would really like to stay a part of the Osu communitee on TL, as well as the game communitee. I will be making a new account, devoid of any traces of cheats/hacks tomorrow as my tablet ships in, so could TL somehow forgive me please? >_< edit: fix formatting and images | ||
