Just out of curiosity: What Prestige and level is everyone on? How far do you intend to go? And how much playtime can one have had during the time the game has been out without being seen as a nerd?
Post your thoughts please.
Personally, I'm level 52 Prestige 5 at the time writing this, I intend to stop at Prestige 8 because I think that has the coolest symbol and it's not respectful to be above that since everyone sees Prestige 9 & 10 as level-hack, which, unfortunaly, is 95% true. As far as where the geeklimit goes, I honestly don't know. I've got 'bout 12 days I think. In my clan, the one with the least has 6, and the one with the most has 17, so I would like to know which ones I'm allowed to annoy by calling them nerds

Hello HaXXspetten, tbh with you im currently at 70 lvl 1st prestige, Having some symbols, more titles just to show off that I play much doesnt appeal to me, and I always want to use all the weapon unlocks I have done in the game, my current achievement is to max out everything and get all the titles unlocked and then maybe start prestiging again. in my clan everyone plays alot and our clan leader is currently at prestige number 6. You can always tell who hacked their prestige at least in the PC version, you can go to their steam profile and check how many hours they have played, I always mock everyone that has hacked prestiged to 10th prestige but one time I got embarassed because the guy I was mocking had played something like 1500 hours or so so it seemed pretty much legit. There are people who got 10th prestige legit.

I'm level 70 1st prestige. In the past with other CoD games I've never prestiged because I don't see the point. I would have no use for the additional class setups since I only use 2 or 3 anyways. The only reason I prestiged in MW2 was to unlock the new challenges so that I could get the cool emblems and titles and show off how big a nerd I am. I have no plans to prestige further.
2nd prestige level 37. I plan on getting to 10th prestige. The first time I regretted it because I lost all my camos perks and guns. But the starting guns aren't so bad. Plus I like the new titles and emblems

Isn't that like saying that you should only use 2 or 3 builds on ICCUP because they work, and therefore it's pointless to try something new and fun?
Currently 6th prestige 17, not sure im gonna prestige again though. I really hate the 10th prestige emblem and dont play very much anymore so it would take me forever to get to 10th anyhow

Damn, 6th prestige is pretty impressive dedication if it's legit without any bugged lobbies.

lol rts =/= fps there's no "strategy" other than camp in MW2
I'm 5th prestige and have been playing mw2 on xbox for a few months. Honestly, the game is beyond frusturating and has alot of random components to it. I wouldn't recommend to buy it if you're looking for a competitive FPS.

I think Sweettears said it best, but really this game boils down to finding a playstyle that works for you, and whoring up that style. Any gun can work in any situation, you just have to find what you like.
