You could equally look at the starcraft campaign and say that it's just 1a2a3a whereas you were hoping for something more Halo style. Just because it's possible to 1a and win against cpus doesn't mean there aren't levels above that in PvP. | ||

Whatever you guys do, just don't join massive NC-Goons-PL (fake reset)-Minor Threat-XxDeathxX-KIA-ETCETCETCETC napfest My fake reset backbone. I mean goddamn I hardly play EVE at all these days and here's me killing a dude from Red Alliance, now a goon pet. My fake reset overlords will not be happy. On a more serious note, what do you expect? "Yeah sure we'll fight tooth and nail alongside you for 3 years to defeat your arch nemesis and take Delve, ok we're done now bye we don't give a fuck if you get rolled over 2 weeks from now"? Yes there are certain people we like to shoot more than others, and nobody is above forming alliances/coalitions/blobs whether they be permanent or temporary if its in their interests to do so. Goons aren't on the front of the list of people we would rather shoot and Delve isn't high on the regions of r64 moons to take over, but we shoot them just as happily as anybody else if that's the only fight in town. | ||

I've been in 0.0 for over a month now and it's been a blast. Whether it's going on roams down to curse, camping the 7q gate in 8yc or flying rifters into lowsec for some pewpew, there's always something going on. Gentlemens Club really is a fantastic alliance and our blues are awesome. I've meet some really amazing people EVE-wise. Mukk Barovian is just a great FC, he's on most of the US TZ, constantly gets roams going and when he's not FC a roam he's probably soloing a hurricane and a tempest in a cyclone. Then there's Faffywaffy or as revo likes to call him - the God of interceptors. If it's a fleet he'll scout it, if it's a juicy target he'll point it and if it's a frig sized ship? Then there's a pretty good chance he'll kill it. This brings us to well - us, Liquid Inc. While our activity is quite low due to summer and other stuff we keep on pvping. Revo leads the front on this one. I have no idea where he finds the time but he does and he's damn good at it. Since Dex came back there have been numerous fitting debate with a high drama factor for the observers, but never the less it still isn't decided whether shield tanked ships suck because of sig radious or if armor tanks suck because they're bricks. In the words of Super Daniel Man: "It remains to be seen." And although just the community is enough to log on every day there's the game itself. The more I play EVE the more I see why this is the greatest MMO ever created. While I'm not really into PvE and industry the PvP is simply stunning. This only him me a few days ago when I briefly mentioned to a friend who plays WoW that the second great war ended a month or so ago and his reply was a somewhat sarcastic "Why is it great, did it last for 3 months?" To which I replied "No it lasted more than 2 years". He spent the next 2minutes picking his jaw from the floor. And there's proof to EVE's greatness. A few days back there was a cap fight that broke the all time record for most cap losses with 166 dreads being lost. The fight was between -A- & Atlas vs. PL and Razor, the latter losing over 90 dreads despite having superior numbers overall, but this event pales in comparison to what happened yesterday. Mukk was setting up for a roam and just as we were about he head out he says "Guys I need you to switch in RR BS immediately, everyone else bring suicide tackle." I headed back to m-m got my rifters and waited. Soon we learned that a german corp was sieging a large tower in lowsec with a Moros dreadnaught. Since we couldn't titan bridge over there and having people with awful sec status we had to go though Doril, which is Razor's temporary home system. There we lost revo, who was scouting. Soon we arrived 2 jumps outside of the destination system. Mukk sent in suicide tackle and we waited. The tension was palpable. "Fleet jump in", we burned as fast as we could but sadly their support fleet of 10 battleships got out. The main prize was still there though. A Moros and a Nidgohur were about to meet their demise. Seeing a Moros, which makes a battle ship look like frigate really puts things into perspective and they're also worth a lot of killboard points  So you see EVE truly is made of win. I still get a rush every time I see a gate flash when I'm solo camping with my thrasher. And every once in a while you catch something big. | ||
