there are valuable roles for low(er) SP players, even in these massive fights, it hardly takes that long to train into a dictor, but that is not what they're seeing - they're seeing titans/supercarriers, years of training and/or hundreds of hours grinding, hours and hours, day after day of patience and effort to ensure that you are in the right place with the right assets and the right information at the right time when it actually matters. and for all that? your reward is 20 hours patiently switching mods to get their cycles to clear, re-logging crashed clients, waiting for outstanding network calls to clear so you can refit a module. dont get me wrong - i would do it again in a heartbeat, but it really shouldn't be what you sign up to eve for. [i mean, kinda weird for an eve player. in terms of gameplay, compared to the exhilaration of fighting with a frigate or cruiser against something similar, that individual triumph, it is not even close.] | ||
