Sounds like your motherboard is dying, although it could possibly be your power supply as well. When you "re-orient" things on the motherboard that shouldn't make any difference and it makes a difference, that is in indication that a voltage problem exists somewhere in the main circuit (which is on the motherboard). This can be caused by a damaged circuit on the motherboard (which sometimes results from age/wear and manufacturing defects), but it could also be a power supply providing incorrect voltage, though that's rare in my experience.

Do a good cleaning of your machine and afterwards a visual inspection of the circuits on the main board. Look for burned spots or foreign contact (a leaf or dust bunny etc.).

But in all seriousness, yeah ye olde motherboard is on weekly dialysis. I was waiting for some hardware and software releases to spec a new upgrade, but I suppose that'll have to come sooner rather than late; shouldn't be an issue though.

I assume most people have GSF intel anyway/other better intel sources, but Goons and others are talking about data mined from CCP's dev server: Rapid Heavy Missile Launchers and POCO changes, + some other stuff I didn't see mentioned elsewhere.
GSF Forums: First up, Rapid Heavy Missile Launchers! A new BS-sized weapon, these fire heavy missile ammo and come in all meta levels. Ravens, Scorp Navy Issues, and both Typhoon hulls will receive bonuses to these weapons. It looks like the Tier 1, Tech 1 missile BS are being given anti-support roles.
Next up, massive changes being made to Customs Offices. Base tax values for all PI products are being changed -- generally lowered 10-25% -- and a new skill is being introduced called "Customs Code Expertise" which reduces the tax charged by a CO as you train it. It may only apply to highsec. CCP Soundwave endorsed highsec POCOs as recently as this fanfest. Given that his past commentary on potential changes such as removing ice belts proved rather prescient, I believe it's quite likely that highsec POCOs are on the table for the Winter Expansion. Between the tax and skill changes, it's clear there's a dev "sprint" on PI and POCOs. Highsec POCOs and a new item called the Mobile Shipping Unit could round out some gameplay changes on that front. My radar says that P4 prices are going up.
Other notable things: the oft-rumored deployable/mobile cyno disruptors, and a new pirate faction (Amarr/Gallente). There's work on those fronts but they may not be published for Winter 1.0. In fact, it's possible NONE of the things in this post make Winter 1.0. CCP can change its mind: you just never know. But we're pretty confident.

Welped my snakes to baddies in an avoidable way. They warped in on me at 0 (wasn't watching dscan but was aligned) but instead of hitting warp out I hit mwd so dealigned myself then I aggressed so that when they undocked a broadsword and warped it to me at 0 I couldn't eject in time. I started deaggressing after 1 shot that I knew would miss but had I not aggressed I'd have kept them. Sloppy shit after not playing for best part of a month. Annoyingly enough I had a ranis and a daredevil get out in structure in the sparring before that happened too and I had friendly antitackle on the way to fly with me but I couldn't be bothered to wait for them before I started shit. Very avoidable, everything went bad.
