Kwark also risks getting fucked over by the GMs if he just pockets the money. Since it was posted in the topic that the guy was paying 8 bil for the toon and the contact was X ATM then it would be pretty obvious to the GMs what happened.

It was pretty transparent and happens a lot. GMs would work it out although they would then ban someone completely unrelated for "we are unwilling to disclose the reason for your ban for security reasons".

It's not worth it.

CCP try to avoid anyone getting unduly screwed on the bazaar. They take a very aggressive stance on it including banning people completely unrelated for no reason.

They permabanned me out of the blue for something that a CCP GM did and refused to tell me why. If I hadn't been able to salvage my API from evemon (they wouldn't give it to me) and Michael hadn't been able to use a third party program to track wallet logs with my API then we wouldn't have been able to piece together what the hell they thought happened. They opened with "you have been found guilty, you have been banned, we will not tell you what we found you guilty of, we will not tell you what the evidence against you was, we will only tell you that it was so overwhelmingly strong that we feel confident in straight up permabanning you".

That's fucking bullshit.

For a moment there, I had thought that getting a wardeck with a shit ton of highsec corps that shoot people on the jita undock etc etc would be a good idea, then you could roll in there with an unkillable fleet and just massacre them.
