REALLY interesting move by WeMade FOX to take eSTRO/Hacker/Project, I guess being sponsored by Razer was a motive into taking them (and expanding onto the international scene).

Source competition wise is pretty much dead after it's largest supporter the CGS folded. It's more popular casual wise though.

Their manager is pretty close with Artosis/PR/NonY as he speaks pretty good English! He's not gonna go to We Made Fox then? Guess IEG needs him ^ ^

It's surprising to see WeMade pick up eSTRO.CS and hopefully this will increase the players' salary? eSTRO did a fine job giving the CS team the ability to travel to many events, but then again most of them were paid trips due to winning many qualifiers.

Top level competition in CS is pretty random since the skill gap is so close that any team can win on any given day. Gravitas (previously known as Turmoil and x3o) beat eSTRO twice in both ESWC 2007 and 2008 by a large margin (16-5 or something like that). American teams aren't really on the same level as the Europeans since most of the former CS 1.6 players are coming back from CGS and they need time to get back into shape. Right now, the Americans aren't really a threat, but x3o (previously known as Paragon of Virtue and they won against mTw in one of the ESL events) has been playing very well in American online leagues so far.

And have to ask: Is there anything more boring? :p. All respect to the players but as a spectator sport it's really... ugh...

Only use for the site is hltv's, which you can get from hltv.org too. so that website is in pretty bad shape atm.

the most blunt reason is simply there was no financial benefit for the companies that sponsored these teams. shame really, especially with the cs team. solo was such a sick player
