And, while the Ravens D didn't look its best vs the Titans, it's still a great defense. I doubt the Steelers will put up very many points. And, I'll tell you this too: Will Parker will not run for 147 and 2 TDs against the Ravens D. That's what won the Steelers the game, and the Ravens can stop, or significantly slow down their rushing attack. It's going to be a tight game, just like everyone but DKnight is saying. Again, as a Steelers fan, I'm with you here. A healthy Willie Parker with a better O-line than this one have been stopped dead by the Ravens. I know Willie wasn't healthy in the previous matchups, but he has never run for more than 100 yards vs them. That is like saying that because Darren Sproles [no doubt a good back] ran for a hundred yards against the Colts, he will do it again against the Steelers. We all saw how that turned out. I think this game comes right down to the health of the teams. Ravens and Titans game was peppered with injuries, if those guys are far below 100% this Sunday, the Steelers take it. If all of those players are 100% and aren't fatigued from their schedule [which they shouldn't be with that extra day] the Ravens have a strong chance to take the game, and might even be the smart money. OK Flacco is a rookie, but the fact is that he performed admirably in the two previous meetings. Fine he didn't do much, but considering the defense he was up against he did just fine. Big Ben hasn't exactly lead the league the days that the Steelers played the Ravens. Ben did orchestrate a couple of key drives, and Flacco didn't answer, so I think that is a bit of an advantage. I think that the Steelers offense has the advantage in clutch situations, just due to experience, but on average, the Ravens have the offensive advantage. In a few years Flacco will be a FAR FAR better QB than Ben has turned out to be. The only positive sign that can really be taken from the last game is that the O-line for the Steelers played better than its previous meeting with the Chargers. If the O-line is in fact playing better, and that will show even slightly against the Ravens, I give the Steelers a small but real advantage. Edit: Ohh My, hit 3k, didn't realize it.

The Raven's have sick momentum, and they are a competely different team than the chargers. If you watch the games from the regular season ravens/steelers, they were VERY close games. I strongly believe that the Titans were the best team this season, and the raven's managed to beat them, not by pure skill but by keeping their cool (8000 penalties for tennesse? a new world record?) playing safe, and ultimately making better choices. Obviously dumb luck had a lot to do with it on the last few drives, but still the Raven's came through I'd say 10-7 either ravens or steelers winning. just a matter of outside forces coming into play imo ps : go ravens

Yeah, that Titans team isn't very good with out Johnson running. The thing that worries me about this game is that CJ and Parker are similar backs, with Johnson being the better of the two, in my opinion. But they are both very fast edge runners, and Parker did look really good last week (granted, it was against an unbelievably overrated defense that struggles against the run). The way Johnson was gashing them, I wonder if Parker will be able to as well. The thing that makes me lean toward saying no is that Parker doesn't have the open field moves that Johnson has. He's good in the open field, don't get me wrong, I just think Johnson has better moves. He has the fastest 40 time of any current half back, and he has moves on top of moves. The defenders had him lined up a few times and he eluded them, and I just don't see Parker doing that as often as Johnson did. The other thing that worries me for the Ravens is their health. That game against the Titans was brutal, and the Steelers pretty much played on cruise control the whole game. That extra day of rest may give them just what they need, but it's going to be a concern in the second half. If the Ravens can get an early lead, and put the game in the hands of Big Ben, there's no question in my mind that Ben will not come through for them. If they keep it close, and allow the Steelers to stick around and pound the ball on them, they're probably going to lose another close fourth quarter game.

I still think Giants were the best team talent-wise this year (talent-wise don't necessarily give you wins). Sick run game, pretty good passing (til Burress shit), Sick pass rush, solid run D and ok secondary.

Just like the experts said it'd be the Eagles vs Cardinals in the NFC Championship. oh wait. Its a prediction!! Up for putting $20 up on the game? Payable via paypal? Either game is fine for me.

Ware's a beast, Newman's solid, James and Ellis are pretty good too, but besides that, who really scares you on the Cowboys defense? The Gmen have a ridiculous front seven, as much as I dislike them
