Meanwhile, I voted for the Cowboys to win. Oh well, at least Tashard Choice got me 15 points or so... even if it's just a consolation ladder game. :/

I was listening to the Sports guy podcast, and his guest made a good point. In Detroit, even though they lack a lot of good players, they do have owners very willing to give you plenty of time to build up a team (re: Matt Millen) and Cowher did a pretty damn good job in Pittsburgh over the years. I'd be interested to see if he's offered that position and if he takes it I think he would be more likely to come out of retirement to coach a team like the Browns. I think he could turn them around. The Lions are in absolute shambles, and I don't know that a guy like that would want to have to go through all the work to turn them into a good team, though I certainly think he would be capable of doing so. Cincinnati and Buffalo are also better situations for him. What Cincy needs is good, stable leadership, and Cowher can provide that. Buffalo has an unbelievably talented team, but also needs better coaching. Cowher is completely capable of assembling a top-notch coaching staff, and returning that team to its glory days. The Raiders, like the Lions have so many problems, I don't think he would want to go there--they're both at least five years away from playoff contention. It's not like the Dolphins who had a lot of misused talent on their roster, and needed just a few key pieces. That's what the Bills, Bengals, and Browns are.

Thats about 7.7 yards per carry - WHAT THE FUCK. ESPN predicated him to have ONE point based on our setting and he got 25. Thank god I still won though.

And that still leaves the Bengals and Browns. The Browns are expected to let Crennel go at the end of the season (which needs to happen). There's no word about Lewis being ousted, but he needs to go too.

Browns would be ok I suppose, Bengals....I think just due to the history there I imagine that he'd be reluctant to take on a team with THAT many head cases. At least with the browns, there's some talent to start with (O-line, edwards, winslow [even though he's an idiot]), MAYBE brady quinn (hard to tell, I dunno if anyone is sold on him long term). defense has to be retooled completely, but I'm sure Cowher is up to the task So let's put it at Cleveland would be the best, and then maybe Detroit just because the owners are good and let the GM's have free reign. I think he is gonna come out of retirement in the next 2 years. He's still young, and he probably just has the itch to go and start coaching again. Watching Mike Tomlin take the team that he more or less built and do well is probably killing him inside to some degree

Here's my starting roster: Warner, Welker, Bowe, Owens, C. Johnson, R. Grant, D. Clark, R. Gould, and Washington Defense my bench is Favre, Matt Jones, John Stewart, Mcfadden, For some reason I still have Michael Bush on my team, and Dallas D Would you make any changes? The only one I'm considering is John Stewart instead of one of my RB's. The Titans have the #1 seed locked up almost for sure, and Johnson might not play as much, plus stewart is gonna play denver whose run defense is terrible...only problem is that D. Williams might get more of the running time so it's a tough decision to make Thoughts?

The game vs pitsburgh was so Dallas Cowboys but miscommunication and UGLY mistakes led to a lost. This sunday we host the Giants. We already have a 3 point lead according to Las Vegas. IMO were like last year's Giants. We have had our stupid mistakes and lost our matches. Now all we can do is come back and rape. Otherwise Cowher wouldn't look to shabby in all blue/white.

Part of the reason most people believe Matt Millen stayed as long as he did was because he had carried out some of the Fords doings. The Fords are the worst owners in sports by far. No one comes close.
