Saints are going to destroy da Bears tomorrow. Epic thrashing.

Denver will lock down Carolinas running game.... they are gonna stack 8 in the box pretty much every time..... and depend on Bailey to shut down Smith... heh ~~ Carolinas tight ends and Muhammad would be good for that matchup... Denver plays up to its competition remember....

More like, Denver plays down to its competition.
They're the worst division leader in the NFL. 8-5? Should be 6-7.

Arizona is 8-5, and so are the Jets. The Jets were thrashed by the Broncos too.

Not gonna happen. New Orleans sucks on the road, and the suck even more in the cold weather.

Good luck with that. Deangelo Williams will torch them, and Jonathan Stewart probably will too. Stopping Larry Johnson isn't the biggest accomplishment (although they couldn't the first time around)... Thomas Jones had 138 yards on 16 carries against them (wow), and even Justin Fargas had over 100 yards against them. If anything their rushing yards allowed per game is deceptive, since they've had to face so few good running backs. And they're still giving up 140 rushing yards per game.

Pierre Thomas started off my week on a good foot! Too bad I benched Colston in one league and played Moore in another. -_-
Oh well, I'm content to rub Pierre Thomas in the face of Reggie Bush's owner. I'm playing him this week. >:D

AHHHHHHHHh
John Stewart or Chris Johnson (who may only play half a game)!!!!!!!!!!!! who to choose!

I would go with Stewart. Houston has been playing really well lately, but the Titans need this win for home field throughout, so they'll probably play the starters most of the game.

And the Patriots thrashed the Broncos 41-7. I still say the Broncos are the worst division leader. The Cardinals offense would go crazy on the Broncos.
One fantasy league I'm in has the most fucked up point system. Rushing is 5 yards per point. Passing and reception yards are each 10 yards per point, etc. The league is just so fucking imbalanced. The top 12 players for points are all defensive teams. -_-;; God I hate this league with a passion.
|
I hate leagues where they do major tweaks to the scoring systems. I was just in one where you only got points on defense for turnovers. I didn't draft defense that high, but shit, if I knew that was the case, I'd have just stuck to waiver wires.
|
My friend is in a league where all the top scorers are punt/kick returners. They get 1pt/10 return yards.
|
what the fuck that is retarded
sweetlemons i don't see how your scoring system is that much different except to emphasize RB's even more b/c of the yardage. do they not score pts for td's???
|
1 point per 10 return yards is seriously screwy. On the other hand, I hate that in standard leagues you get 0 points for return yards. Unless they score a touchdown, your player is exposed to a higher likelihood of injury, and yet you get no reward. I have one league where return yards are 1 point per 40 yards and that seems about right to me. Even if they get 160 yards, it's only 4 points. Not a big deal most of the time, but it is something.
|
does your league have a specific spot for special teams, or is that counted as defense/special teams?
|

It's totally different, because most leagues don't give yardage for kick/punt return yards to players. And 1 pt/10 yards is unreal. He had Johnnie Lee Higgins scoring double digits half the games, and Allan Rossum, and crazy shit like that.

when you lose let me know
DJ Williams will probably move back over to middle linebacker so Wesley Woodyard can play.... but stacking 8 in the box every play most likely will do ya in
|
I'd feel a lot better if I had Deangelo Williams on any of my teams. Between him and Pierre Thomas I probably could consider my games for the week won.... but unfortunately I only have Thomas.
+ Show Spoiler +On the other hand I have Jonathan Stewart and fully expect him to get 100 yards and a touchdown.

the Lions have won 1 playoff game since the Fords became the owners.
Thats over 40+ years.
Al Davis has multiple super bowls, the 2 arent even REMOTELY CLOSE in terms of being the worst owners.
Al Davis is just fucking up his legacy lately.

Worst in the past decade, though? Al is pretty close. But I guess that's not even true since they were in the Super Bowl just six years ago. Which is kind of a long stretch (considering they've only been to the playoffs once since), but the Lions are definitely worse... The worst run organizations since '03 or '04 are pretty close between the Raiders, Niners, and Lions... All time, though it's not even close.
