Cleveland has a potent offense when it's working, and it got its act together today, so the large point total isn't THAT surprising. The Giants horrible offensive performance was somewhat unexpected, but, like BroOd said, I don't think it was that unexpected that Eli would have a bad game this season. He's been making the same poor decisions he's made his whole career, but no one has capitalized on them yet (by picking him off, or by scoring after turn overs). He's been throwing off his back foot, and in general having poor mechanics on a lot of throws. It was just Eli being Eli. Personally, I've thought they were overrated all year, because they haven't really played a quality opponent yet (minus Washington who played like shit week 1). I mean, Seattle, St. Louis, and Cincinnati? And they struggled against Cincy. That's not impressive at all, in my opinion. I've been far more impressed with the Skins this year than with the Giants (minus week 1, obviously). Anyway, I thought the Giants would win, and I was pretty confident in it, but I'm not in total shock at their loss in the way that I was when I saw that the Skins lost. To Hawk: I wouldn't bother with any of those HB's, personally. Unless LT or McFadden get hurt, and Fargas too now, I suppose. Just to brag a bit, I won my second game in a row to even out at 3-3 and take over the #1 spot in scoring. I've scored 631 points in 6 weeks now.

Yeah, clutch is throwing off your back foot on second down, when down by fourteen, into coverage in the red zone, and having the subsequent INT returned for a TD while being unable to make the tackle. That's clutch! Eli single handedly lost the game for them in the end. Had he thrown it out of bounds, he could have thrown for a TD on third down. Instead, they lost the game. And then he couldn't make a good pass on fourth down (or second down) on the last drive to keep their slim hopes alive. That's the most clutch play I've ever witnessed from a QB! He performed better than Peyton the first few weeks, but let's not forget that Peyton had two knee surgeries that made him miss two months of preparation. Peyton's stats will be better at the end of the season than Eli's, just like they always have been. Peyton already has more yards, and they're just about equal in TD/INT ratio (7/4 for Eli, 8/5 for Peyton, but Peyton probably won't throw a whole lot more this season). EDIT: I may have been a bit of a dick, but I really get irritated by band wagoners, and over hypers, which is what Eli v Peyton is right now. Just like the Miami dick riders were. (BTW: Was I and every other Miami doubter right, or what? Couldn't even close it out against the Texans... terrible.)

Now Cinci needs to shape up, because if the CLE-CIN game at the end of the season features less than 80 points combined, I'm going to be pissed. Their first game was the biggest letdown of the season so far. At least the Cardinals have been fun to watch (even when it's like this week - a combination of dumb luck and officiating giving Dallas a chance when they deserved none).

Jerry Jones....has balls...Im a big Dallas fan just for the fact I live here but its not that bad of a move when our #1 receiver (T.O) was being doubled even tripled most times of the game, which sometimes he wouldn't even see the ball until the second half. Which is pretty bad when your #1 wide out is only getting the ball until the second half or sometimes touch it 1st qtr and wont see it again until 4th qtr. This will now add 2 deadly threats to the field and thats not even bringing up the other great wide outs. So hopefully now T.O might have the rock thrown to him more? Well now that brings up the issue of Tony Romo being out for 4 weeks and waiting to see what Brad Johnson can bring to the table. A month of unglorified Cowboys gaming. Now I have a reason to get hammered on those sunday afternoons....
