Well aint that a big ol load of shit!
the stats arent even close. Eli hasn't even come close to breaking 60% for a season. Peyton only has one season under %60.
Eli doesn't have any 4000yd seasons. Peyton only has two under 4000 (with one just being like 200 yards under)
Eli is roughly 1:1 in td:int for his career, just hovering above that level (im too lazy to do real math). Peyton has one season under 1:1, and has smashed it through the rest.
Not to mention that Peyton came onto a shitshow of a team, while Eli came onto a team that pretty much had the pieces in place (Good D, pretty solid line and running game, and some weapons in the passing game)
I dont see how this is even a comparison. 1/4 of a season doesnt change anything—hell, most of the time, it doesn't mean anything. Look how many passers are above 100 right now. How many you think will be anywhere near that at the end of the season??

Pretty self explanatory.

14 is most confident. The person with the most points for the week wins.

I joined and made my picks:

Why is everyone so up on Miami? They beat a Brady-less Patriots team, and a shitty, inconsistent San Diego team. I know that Ronnie Brown went crazy on them, but do you really think that the Patriots wouldn't have put up 40 with Brady?
They're a 2-2 team that's proven absolutely nothing, but for some reason they're "surprising" everyone. Wow, they doubled last year's win total. That's not really all that hard to do, nor is it very impressive--they only won once last year. It's not like they're putting up a ton of points every week. They scraped by the Chargers, who were all banged up (the big three are hurting very badly, and had terrible play calling, especially at the goal line; play action at least once, every other team gets criticized so badly for not mixing it up, but the Dolphins are praised for stopping a team four times doing the same thing. The Eagles did the same thing against the Bears and everyone says "why didn't read call for a pass?" Why didn't Turner call for a pass, or a play action pass? It would have made a lot more sense. The point is, they have yet to prove anything at all, and they really shouldn't be getting this much hype. Are they better than last year? Yes, but they were historically bad last year, and it's hard to be much worse, or even as bad.

After how Houston finished last week, I can easily see the Dolphins winning this. Pennington and the Dolphins offense should put up big numbers on the Texans and I think it'll be a shoot out with the Dolphins on top.
Its not that people are hyping Miami - Houston just sucks.

Watch ESPN. Everyone is riding Miami's dick right now. I've heard/read several things that are hyping Miami like they're the best thing since sliced bread.

They're just riding a crest, the wave will crash pretty soon.

they bandwagon for every team that's making a hot run, and will jump off it immediately once they lose
|
Yeah, Miami is playing way better than they really are. Though I though they'd be hard pressed to get one win again, that's just horrible lol
Hopefully brown will get the offense moving again. But they really don't have weapons besides him. Ted Ginn is about as overrated as they come for WR's. He was just a solid return man and straight line runner in college. I have no idea how he ever became a top 10 pick. Oh wait, I do! THE OHIO STATE LIE. Fucking overrated douchebags.
|
Don't people have to think you're good to be overrated? At this point I don't think anyone thinks ted ginn is actually good so he can't be overrated >< he was overrated by miami last year, and that's probably the only team that did that
|
Ted Ginn Jr. was overrated by a ton of people at the start of the year in fantasy football, based on the idea that if they had to throw deep he'd be the one getting the catches. Of course that illusion faded away with the first game, because let's face it, Pennington isn't going to throw deep.
Their defense is doing pretty well, and Ronnie Brown has made their offense a lot stronger than was previously thought. They're way better than people thought they would be. Anyways, I wouldn't pay too much attention to ESPN because they are the kings of overhyping teams.

'BRETT FARVE TO JETS; COMMISH GOODELL TO CANCEL THE SEASON AND AWARD THE LOMBARDI TROPHY AT A PRESS CONFERENCE AT 5 PM'
The fact that Ginn was drafted anything above round 3 means he was overrated at some point =p

wait, do you have to pick the confidence poitns for each game?
or is it just a bonus... like say if i throw ten on Minn, i get 10 bonus points?
|
Confidence points is simply how confident you are a team will win. Rankings are determined by adding up the points that you put for each correct game.
|
I think you have to do the confidence points
