Maelk's qop never leaves his lane, he mind as well not play qop because he completely ruins her. The Russians would always look for an opportunity for a combo, Europeans just don't gank that much. Qop farms 2x as fast as most heroes, there's no need to get a 20min guinsoo or something, she should roam a lot early mid game especially if soloing.

Euros and Russians look for a lot of farm bait chances; whenever their creep wave is pushed up on a tower, one of those we left the lane alone for a while now theres that farm up there, euro/russian teams tend to bait that and gank the unlucky fucker who goes to farm it.

QoP has a open mid game, you can do a lot with it, do what you suggested and gank or just power farm for a few minutes and then just clinch the end game transition. Very versatile hero.

Kuroky's QoP in the new leagues have been very impressive, very aggressive play and really bullying the other team's map control.

Yea I love Kuroky, sick with every hero. Very exceptional player. About the bait, I do that alone with qop. My next item after guinsoo is almost always bot. I fly to whatever lane someone I can take 1v1 is farming in, in scrims I get a spectre on my team, so I fly there, guinsoo, combo, spectre ult, free kill. Kind of a mini global strat I guess. I've also learned from yamateh replays to hide in bushes and stuff and wait till someone comes to farm that lane, then jump out and kill the fucker.

its the ks.int vs avid f2f game. It's an lol game because ks.int got pretty outpicked me thinks and puppey's meepo was hooorrible, but they still managed to win through awesomeness. I though cuz eastern european starcraft players are pretty good at mechanics, puppey would have sick multitasking but he didnt know how to play it at all.

XsK was such an awesome team on paper, but they never won anything big.
Not that I'm blaming that on Puppey but Gunz+Samurai, and especially Fanat1c and Darky were fucking monsters. I had the privilege of playing against most of the XsK members probably 3-4 times during my short ihcs stint and wow one good known player makes a huge difference even in a game of people who know what they're doing.

On another note its freaking weird seeing jolie playing with goblin dendi etc....TRAVKA FOR PUPPEY PLZ

4300th post all yours zulu
List your dream team.

Hmm....also do you just play chinese ladder or do you play with a set team of guys?
I'm assuming you're moving back to US for a while?

yea yea, I'm here for awhile scrimming/laddering so we can trade dota secrets. I'm moving back to the US next week. I play the Chinese VS ladder for points and I'm in a couple of qq (messenger) groups for dota, I play with 2-3 set guys for scrims but most of the time they're not all available so I have to get randoms or what we call "spears" in Chinese or basically mercs. However the chances of finding a good merc is usually very slim.

My dream team for right now would be Loda carry/captain, NS support, Kuroky playing whatever, Goblak, and Hailo for initiator/flexibility. Even at the highest levels I think there are some whos overall awareness is much better than the rest, I believe Kuroky and Hailo are two of those guys. Mainly though they're both very versatile, especially Kuroky, with Mouz he seems to play amazing with every hero.

One of the things I'm noticing is there are so few competent support players. It's very hard to play well as support I understand but sometimes when I look at Pusher/Axypa I just think how are these guys professional dota players. They mess up a lot of basic stuff like positioning, in team battles they're always in awkward spots, not with team, not in the back and first to get killed, and lots of other things like going to kill wards alone with heroes missing on the map, going in first on ganks, etc. It might be due to lag but sometimes I really wonder.

I've basically only played Dota in China so I can't really compare effectively. But I really believe the overall level of Chinese dota is at least as high as Europe's. There are so many players and so many teams. Chinese players have good micro, play an aggressive style, and the high level pubs are at least as good as some IHCS games. Mostly though there's an implicit understanding between good players which I really enjoy, I've never played Dota with vent but I talk a lot in chat. However most of the time I don't even have to say anything to coordinate really nice ganks.

I look forward to European/American players soon to compare and contrast the different styles. I've been "raised" on Chinese style which is very close to Russian. I will be ganking the shit out of testie in future TL IHs.

You will be crying for my meepo to be banned like the rest.
It shall not lose.
Then you'll be asking for my SF to be banned, then qop, then morphling, and so on, and so on, and so on, until all that's left is troll.
You can put me with 3 scrubs, i'll hold your team down until they take 60 fucking minutes to farm up a tier 4 item.

rofl ok, my ES+any nuker will rape your meepo, to make it extra painful I will go dagon on my ES when you pick Meepo. And SF rofl, the way I like to play vs SF is get his first blood. I'm known as the SF first blood getter in my qq group.

Pssst showmatch soon involving Testie's meepo is what I heard from a birdie.

I agree with you though. There's players, even whole teams [ like TEG rofl ] that I watch sometimes and seriously wonder how they are considered pro. But then again, it's also my belief that to be get good at dota, its not as hard as other games say sc or cs.

American style is very vent oriented. Almost the opposite of asians/russians. I experienced it a bit myself while in Korea and ringing for Heen's team. It was strange not having anyone to talk to during dead time. You'll also notice almost no originality from the vast majority of North American players. They just copy replays. Even most ' good ' NA players have trouble micro'ing one necrobook. Your impression [ depending on how much you decide to delve into NA dota ] will probably be very lackluster. Any of the good NA players know not to play with NA players. They go to IHCS or IRC euros

I've checked out a wider array of replays thanks to you and the site you provided, and also just a general increased interest in asian dota lately and I agree. I think asians have always been closer to russians than anyone save the top euro teams.

You're already thinking wrong if you think a single ES + Some nuker will hold me down.
You seriously don't know what you're in for.
I'm mother fucking Testie, not some scrub random TL.netter.
The only defense you have is saying, "-meepo".
