I'd like to know the answer to this too, I was surprised as hell when most people thought HoN > DotA.

at least for tl people dota is dead, afaik the bulk of the players went over to the dark side. err i mean, hon. there needs to be a k added in there, so it can be called honk! honk honk!

once u start another char you can breeze through all the quests, leveling in borderlands is pretty flippin' ez

Either way though, != is only "not equal" in some programming languages. You might as well use <>. In fact, there are p.l. that actually use =/=.

In mathematics - Father of all - people use ≠ , which is most easily represented by =/=. So, tell whoever made that thread that mathematics, once again, tells everything else they can suck it.

If you look at the amount of code which has been written, by far the largest by a significant margin would use != for not equals.

Yet if you take everything that has been written EVER, by far the largest by a significant margin would use ≠, which is best represented by =/=. You know why? Because MATH OWNS ALL, because ≠ has been in use centuries before the first programming language was even invented and because it's just WAY MORE AWESOME. How is this even a debate.

P.S.: That password thing happens more often than you think. That's why it's suggested that for not-so-trustworthy sites you should use a slightly different password like regular password + something else. For example Testie's would be like "i<3mondragonHON". It's easy to remember and kinda unique, and well advised to do so with all 'new' websites/forum, since you don't know what kind of encryption they use and how easy it is to retrieve passwords from it. I've seen passwords taken out of md5-encrypted databases rather easily. So yeah.

Though you should reconsider your stance on HoN, I saw that some of the pro-dota players gone hon already. Things are going to go the HoN way imo.

I don't have any negative opinion about HoN at all, I don't think the old W3 engine's DotA is superior for some self-centered reason or anything, I just don't want to put in the effort. I don't even have the time / desire to play / watch SC anymore, I just relax with a DotA game now and then (or get enraged xD), so I don't bother with HoN
