I think they know about him but there are simply better heroes to fill the role so he doesn't get picked. There are other great heroes that aren't picked too, take hell bringer for example, used to be staple now he's forgotten. The same with soul stealer etc.

Personally, I'd love to see some team man up and pick salforis, slither, hell bringer, soul stealer and lego to go against your typical zephyr + healers push strat which seems to dominate dreamhacks.

Hellbringer was mostly picked a lot because he was a lot stronger back then, he's been nerfed sooo much.

IMO solstice is okay... but not even close to TDL or draconis. She doesn't farm as fast as those carries and she is really weak late when it's day, kinda okay during the night though.

Pub stompers are always like that ra, zepher etc usually have some sorta decent jungleingability to curb out of bad lanes and just power though a game.

I think he's still decent support. You get long range initiation, magic armor reduction a slow and a nice dot. I agree though that they probably overdid it a bit. Unholy shackles are superb though, much better than his previous channeled AoE slow, removing painful bond is drastic though

Problem with HB is that he needs levels to be effective. His effectiveness in teamfights and his laning pressence are dependant on levels. A low level and low farmed HB is not of much use compared to the other supports. Lvl 2-3 dot or slow are mediocre at best in teamfights. He lacks reliable stun or burst damage.

Even when he was picked alot he was mainly used as solo hero and not as support. Right now you can't possibly solo HB effectively and he's a subpar support. If HB is picked he should not be played as support in my opinion.

You could always use him as some awkward suicide. He can heal himself nicely with life void and gets the levels.

As a suicide he's gonna get completely gimped. Hb is gonna get pushed out of the lane or ganked and killed easily. No escape, no stun, very squishy. If he doesn't get the creeps back to his tower he's not gonna get anything.

I could see him run solo shortlane against their suicide or even a duallane. But the question is always if there are better heroes for that job and usally there are a number better options.

Talking about competitive or players of the same (high) level facing each other of course. On low mmr or unorganized games hero balance is completely different anyways. Pretty much anything can work there if played better.

I kinda think like AntiGrav1ty. The only good thing about HB is his ult and his 600 range, everything else is below average. Why would you pick him as a suicide when you can get bub, kotf, ws or plague ? All those guys are wayyyyyyyyy better choices.

Meh, the only reason I haven't been jumping through numerous free accounts is because of the elitist feeling my gold shield and plenty alt avatars give me.

Not the end of the world and not very concerned about it. Like I mentioned in the other thread, people who have something to fear from that are well-known players, GMs and other HoN celebrities. I don't believe anyone would go through the trouble of logging into all of the accounts just to see if there's anything valuable there or a way to do something malicious. Easily 90% of the accounts that got their passwords broken are some free accs people used once or twice. If there are any real accounts with stuff of value that have been cracked, you have no real way of knowing which of them would it be in the sea of garbage.
