So evidently me logging in and clicking on stats = behavior impossible to differentiate from a compromised member of the botnet. I can 100% guarantee my computer is clean; I've run at least 20 scans on it from a variety of different antivirus programs, malware/spyware programs, generic windows programs, registry cleaners, etc. The worst things I have on my computer are tracking cookies. I've never downloaded any kind of cheat or hack and I don't use mods. It just infuriates me (it really does, but I'm not seething) that S2 continues to blame their consumer base for being somehow part of the attacks. There's no fucking way that I'm a part of the attack, unwittingly or willfully, but for the better part of 2 weeks they've told me I am. Now obviously I don't know much about networking and I realize it's a difficult task. As I said last time this happened and I, and thousands of other users who vocally complained, were blocked and unable to use anything beyond basic server functions, I don't have a problem with S2 having problems and working to fix it. I'm not dying from lack of HON over here. But S2 seems to be entirely incapable of simply accepting 100% responsibility beyond the obvious fact that they are not attacking themselves. Instead of trying desperately to point the finger at everything else possible, just man the fuck up, say you're a small company, you don't know how long it will take, and shut the fuck up until it's fixed. | ||

So stop your whining, man up and go ride a bike. Go call that kid you don't hang out with a lot because he plays soccer and you play HoN. Go ask someone a little older than you who is in college or graduated from college to explain the details of their daily work. Read about ways to combat DDOSing, and try and come up with your own solution, but don't just sit there *****ing and claiming you're quitting a game because the servers went down once for two days. Thought that post was really well written talking about the current situation ahaha | ||
