Too bad. Cross platform play would make this game sooo much better.
There's another information I can give you tho that was told to players at the EU finals: T.Hawk, DeeJay (obv) and Dudley will be featured in the sf4 addon.

hey im kind of a noob. if i double dip and buy this on PC will the ps3 controller work on PC?

I'm guessing that instead of releasing sequels, such as how SF3 had 2I and 3s, SFIV will be updated through add-ons. I hope they patch characters as well. I think after all things said and done SFIV will have all the characters from Alpha and SF3. one can only dream.

Most PS3 controllers should work afaik. Just try it and google your controller if it doesn't work.

For those wanting to not get ripped.

Newegg has TE editions for 149.99 on the button with free shipping.

Yeah, it's sad. For games, us Americans feel like 2nd-class citizens, getting some games late and a few not at all, having to import a few things, etc. But you guys are easily 3rd-class or 4th-class citizens.

Is an SE stick even worth it? I've heard they break over just a couple of weeks. Is this complete bull? Also with SF4 I've been getting used to an 8-button layout, one for 3P and one for focus, which is REALLY handy when doing focus-cancles and whatnot. I'd hate to not have this feature. Guess I'm going to have to cash out for a TE. Sigh.

Edit: Official ones that is.

First-run SE sticks have a ridiculously-high defect rate. Usually the problem is that a metal washer on the bottom of the joystick itself gets loose and starts messing up the physical performance of the movement and/or the electrical connections. They fixed this problem for future shipments, so this shouldn't be an issue. In EU the warranty is 2 years I think, anyhow.

The bigger issue is that the buttons and stick on the SE are kinda sucky even when working properly, the buttons especially.
