But if the leaks are true then Bungie took content from Final Shape and was Lightfall. That explains some things.

I don’t think I liked the campaign as much as the Witch Queen but it was still one of the better ones they’ve made. There’s some neat stuff in the post-campaign exotic quests too

when the 2 lead lore writers for D2 at Bungie proposed the Lightfall campaign here is what went on...

Man this sucks. I get wanting a destiny 3 but man it just sucks that we'd have to retread waiting for them to re-add old maps and old exotics to appease fans. Especially since I thought Destiny 2's whole point was that Destiny 1 became such a burden to maintain.

Man what a strong condemnation!

I disagree on his metric of pay to win, but its certainly a bad business model.

They should just do what FFXIV does. Give people 1+2 campaigns for free, and make it so if you buy the newest campaign you get ALL OTHER campaigns.

For a live service game, I feel like the idea of triple dipping new players buying every subsequent expansion when only the latest one matters. Even WoW dropped that in Cata or MoP or so?

I get the premium pass every year so most of the problems he brings to life doesn't really apply to me. I think the boost up to a certain light level is weak because thats mostly just to get people in the ed-game grind. I cant buy an 1800 character. But the seasonal event monetization fucking sucks, as does the confusing dungeon key.
