Then its getting increasingly brutal. Calgary is like imploding. Start just attacking detroit players for no reason at all. So 5 minutes left, they sub out kiprusoff and put in the backup mclennan so that kiprusoff doesnt risk getting ran and injured - see calgary vs anaheim 2 years ago for how bad it can get. Mclennan is in the net for like 30 seconds, and gets a penalty for slashing. Detroit has possession, so no whistle on the play yet. Whistle goes, he chops the ice behind the net with his stick, goes in front of his net and totally brashears some detroit player (luckily in the stomach and not the side of the head. A big two handed slash, as hard as possible right to the stomach. Then iginla practically throws schneider to the ice, gets up, iginla butts him with his stick, crosschecks him in the back, everything goes totally apeshit. Suspensions: Certain: Mclennan. one other thing i'll mention is if some guy randomly uppercutted a guy with enough force to cause a concussion why didn't he get punished by the league? i know the refs missed it but the league reviews video... P.S. whats your source on the concussion claim? last i heard he was having headaches thats all | ||
