Was on the fence about buying this for PC over the Steam Winter Sale. Now I'm glad I waited.

EDIT: Also, having talked to a friend who basically quit gaming due to RSI, the Switch has basically allowed him to enjoy his hobby again. The joycons allow him to basically always play with in neutral position and not kill his wrists the way he would with a controller or mouse + keyboard.

I know a lot of people prefer the traditional controller setup and/or the pro controller, but for me it was a surprising example of where the joycon design actually has some nice benefits. Yet another example of how the Switch caters to an aging gamer population.

I haven't seen him hold the joycons, so I couldn't exactly tell you what his grip is like. And yeah he plays primarily docked.

I don't have the problems he does, but I agree that the joycon setup allows for more comfortable positions. You don't need to hold your hands in front of you, a specific distance apart. I'm OK with traditional controllers, but I can't do KB&M for very long times.

With the joycons, I typically have my hands down, resting on my thighs. That's assuming I'm not flailing around and punching the air like an idiot

I enjoyed it a lot. Some puzzles are awful and tedious, bur the core gameplay is good.

what do we think is the likelihood of some sort of physical trilogy collection when bayonetta 3 launches? i want to get bayo 2 now; but the US version only has a digital download for bayo 1

I don't think there'll be a physical edition for bayo 1, it's a download code that follows with 2 like it was with the wii u
It'd be neat, but i doubt it

Bayonetta 2 is getting a physical release on Feb16th with a download code for Bayonetta 1. I think that's the closest we're gonna get outside of, down the line, a Nintendo Selects type thing for Bayonetta 3.

We MIGHT see a Bayonetta trilogy someday, but I don't think we will see it for at least 2-3 years after the release of 3.

Started Xenoblade Chronicles 2 last week and I feel pretty fucked up regarding what I said in my previous post about having short gaming sessions etc... The ratio of watching cutscenes versus actually playing the game during a 45 min train commute is rather horrendous.

Also, I don't understand how, being a Japanese game, all the writers that had to work on Nopon dialogues did not just seppuku themselves right away... That's some serious level of cringeworthy here...

Otherwise, I'm enjoying the game so far!

Splatoon 2 sold the same as Splatoon 1 in 5 months (2.5 years for Splatoon 1)
