One of them had an overlapping store event that let it be at 399 which was a killer price. They will come around even more and I can still hold, with renewed interest in d2 and my kid being into SW now, there is no rush. my first big fomo will probably be W&W in 2027 :D That's fair! We're not even one full year into the Switch 2's lifespan yet, and most of its games are still functional on Switch 1. As we enter into 2027, we'll see far more Switch 2 exclusives that have huge fanbases and the expected gravitas, like Pokemon Winds/Waves, which will eventually tempt more gamers to buy the newest system. I like Nintendo's decision to pace themselves with the biggest IPs while still releasing other fantastic first-party and third-party games every single month. It's a marathon, not a sprint, and this is the first time in decades that Nintendo has had two, consecutive, massively successful generations of home consoles (Switch 1 then Switch 2), though a huge contributing factor is that they're technically hybrid and Nintendo has always cornered the market on handheld gamers. I'll release my next updated tier list at the end of June, but I can already say that the S, A+, A, and A- tiers have all increased since the beginning of 2026. | ||
