 The Emmies are basically a revival of the Sa-X, which imo was one of the best parts of fusion. The Sa-X seemed like it was more threatening though with the doors basically announcing the Emmies and there being temporary weapons to kill them, and I also prefer biological horror in Metroid over mechanical horror. Still might be good, feeling vulnerable is definitely something metroid should convey. I'm not a fan of the charge dash. I don't mind the counter-idea, but I don't think aggressive melee should be a preferable attack alternative in Metroid. Might be early game balancing though or mainly used to kill weak enemies. I just don't want metroid to become melee centered where I charge a huge biological horror to hit him with my cannon. Has anyone played the 3ds metroid 2? Is it worth getting? | ||

Nintendo was behind spec wise since the gamecube (not sure about the n64) and it's only increased since the wii. They always sold their console through their exclusive titles, not hardware imo. Zelda and Mario are quite literally system sellers. Tbf the wii, switch, and ds also sold unique hardware features. I agree though that "some smartphones have better hardware" lost it's meaning when smartphones went from a 100-200 euro price range to up to a thousand. Also I'm doubtful smartphones can remotely as effectively use that hardware considering how there's very little ventilation and even if there aren't really smartphone games that use that kind of hardware afaik. And the average smartphone game makes EA and Atvi green with envy about how greedy and abusive they are. | ||
