Obviously the gps isn't that bad.. for 5.5mi you should be getting atleast 4.5 miles on your eggs | ||

At walking speed my distance tracked is (and has always been) pretty much perfect. Biking is another matter. | ||

b) raise the speed limit for credit so I can run/bike at a moderate pace, I don't think anyone cares if someone abuses the distance tracking and I don't think this changes anything safety-wise because people are still going to do this in vehicles. I've gotten 4km walking around at work today... seems silly to have that count for so much more. | ||

although i am jealous of people who ride their bikes while playing, i do agree they should do something to allow people to play the games at reasonable speeds approximating jogging and casual biking. i also would like for them to create a link with my exercise bike for those rainy days. | ||

That's fair, its just already happening is my point. The difference between 5mph and 10mph isn't going to stop someone from just cruising around slowly in their car. You should already be disappointed. The difference between 5 and 10 does affect whether you can run/bike while playing. In a perfect world they'd know whether you were in a vehicle or not but I'm not sure how they could. | ||

Speaking completley outta my ass on this one but given that pokemon still asks you for access to everything (on android anyways) when you first launch it, they might be able to read if your connected to your car via bluetooth and disable any mileage tracking. | ||
