Not sure how creditable the source was but remember reading that it broke the record for fastest a game has ever sold over 1billion via in game purchases.

im staring at it to see where that charmander always spawns near my work, because i never seem to find it.

yeah ive been looking at the site on and off all day during work and i think rare pokemon only show up for 5mins?
either way ive yet to see one actually show up around my area on the website. makes me realise why mobs go crazy when they hear a charizard spawned somewhere, they really are fking rare lol

I'm thinking that pokevision website was completely unprepared for the number of people that are now F5ing all over the place.

I wonder what Niantic think of it. It's super useful but it also kind of breaks the game a bit. They could easily change the API to get rid of it.

The only gym that I have been able to hold for more than a few hours was in a town with approximately 2200 citizens. Still holding it now (I've been holding it for about 12 hours)

Well, I'm in Germany around the RuhrArea (lots of students) and I'm mostly running into 20+ people all around. Campuses are full of trainers and the recreational parks around are, too.
I have yet to see children play the game.

i think im gonna slow down on this game a lot now.
im unusually stingy about spending money on games and ive only just hit lvl 15 but its unbelievable how many pokeballs i have to burn through to catch common crap.
i dont live in an area where i can farm pokestops for a long period of time to make up for the balls i use, so im almost required to keep buying pokeballs from the shop.
i can only imagine how much worse it would get when you hit lvl 20+

how much has everyone spent on the game? ive spent 15 and i dont feel i could let myself spend another 15 just because i need more pokeballs

I dropped $20 on it for lures, the fiancee wanted to set up a picnic blanket and relax in the middle of a 3pokestop overlap at the park with snacks. Pretty cheap date night ;-)
