I don't get that whole socialising thing. The only ppl i would meet when walking aimlessly around catching pokemon/ go to pokestops would be 12-16yr olds... Is this maybe a country thing? Or just related to city size? Can anyone confirm/ deny things like that happen in Germany? Cause in my experience ppl here play just casually and laugh about all those articles like "500 ppl on the highway to catch pokemon" and such. I mean gyms in my area have Pokemon with maybe 500-600 CP TL,DR; I want to meet hot girls but it's not happening :D Mid sizes city i guess. About 200k population once you add in the surrounding area. I mostly go to the river trail which has probably at minimum 100-150 people there at all times since pokemon go has released and probably pushes 500-600+ during peak hours.

Not an age group im feeling a dire need to socialize with, but stranger things have happened, i suppose.

There might be some bias there, considering you likely know more people your age than you do children. Pokemon's still incredibly popular with kids. Everyone's "grown up" with Pokemon, as they've constantly released new games.

The Nearby foot-metric is broken. They always say 3 feet. But I live in the suburbs and come across a Pokemon every ~5 minutes.
