I think I might stay home and go once an official statement has been made (I live 40 minutes away fortunately). Duka08 3391 Posts January 30 2015 17:52 GMT #84 Sounds like they had a backup plan for losing one ballroom (not one day) that involved cutting some of the events, such as the doubles tourneys, and still fitting everything else in. We'll see if they can adjust; sounds like they're going to do everything they can to make the major events work but it rests on the hotel opening at least one ballroom tomorrow. Would suck to see such a major event totally cancelled. Lots of respect for the damage control they're trying to do, especially after weeks of controversy and trouble in previous years as well. Perseverance.

And I can only imagine how much of a nightmare handling refunds is going to be for the TOs when they start with that process next week.
