The ESL CS:GO Pro League is currently well on the way for the winter 2014-2015 as the group stages are nearing completion. There are currently 16 teams involved in this league

Thanks for setting up the thread. Greatly looking forward to the Planetkey vs DEMGUNS match since Planetkey is my favorite German (ie. hometown) team. It's probably not going to be easy exactly but possible. What do you guys think about their chances?

Ah cool, I've honestly only seen very few matches of DEMGUNS. They looked okay, not bad and not much worse than Planetkey, but it wasn't a lot of games that I based that on. Hoping Planetkey doesn't choke then.

VP's play against LDLC will depend on how Pasha and Neo are playing at that time. It's not that bad if they get knocked to lower bracket since there's no team that can really push them to the limits (unless DPNR beats ldlc which would be a bonkers match to see)

That last round in the first half was the most AWP heavy I've ever seen in a progame on Dust2. 5 AWPs in play, 2 CT side, 3 T side... Pretty insane!

Important rounds in the early game on Overpass for PKD now. If they can play a solid CT side on THE most CT-sided map ever, they have a good chance to win the BO3 after all.

And now tsack froze. At what point do demgunz just get disqualified for this? Also, what the hell. How can this happen to several individual players? Why does it take them 10 min to restart CS? Seems suspicious. Maybe they're just pulling cables when they feel they need a break or something?
EDIT: On second thought, the pulling-the-cables thing makes no sense. Guess they're just unlucky. Looks really bad for them anyways now at 2-7.

it's pretty easy to DDoS players or servers in CSGO since people are still not informed about preventive measures/are lazy too. Most of the time, it's script kiddies ddosing to protect their bets

Well they (demgunz themselves) were saying that it wasn't DDOS but rather PC/CS crashes!

GGs, PKD win it in the end but wow did they make it close. Good tense games but the constant pauses because of demgunz people mysteriously having to restart their systems hurt the viewing experience a lot. If I was in charge, I'd sanctionize teams for this kind of stuff way harder.

Maybe not so much live reported as much as everyone's reactions to big plays. But I think so, since you can report score after every round, and mention what plays the teams make. X player gets entry, Y team takes A/B site by some split/fake etc, Z player gets 3K/4K/Ace/1vX clutch. It's possible

To be honest, a lot of these rounds do feel like ESC just aren't hitting their shots whereas CPH are
I'm not convinced that it's only the map advantage at play here.

It's a really balanced map and it seems to fluctuate. At one point last year, 10-5 T was pretty normal, but towards the later end of 2014 it was more like 9-6 CT. As of 2015, it seems to have changed once again to be 9-6/10-5 T.
In my personal opinion, it's a T sided map, and something like 9-6 T should probably be the norm. It's pretty balanced though so it's not surprising to see it go either way.
