I mean, I know it's "gimmicky" but if the purpose of tilting the keyboard is to make more room to put your arm on the desk, wouldn't you be able to use one of those things just as well without twisting your wrist?

yeah but your not getting the point I made, the gimicky part was the afterthought. Its not a keyboard its just keypad. Its if you realllyyyy want to use that thing sure go ahead most people will just prefer keyboards because they are more versatile.

Any tips on how to deal with the 15 year olds who think they're hot shit? I've been playing this game since literally the beta (when it was a Half-Life mod). I don't need some kid telling me what to do when the bomb is planted etc. When you try to be nice to them they just mock you and keep dicking around. When when you yell at them it just gets toxic AF.
It's simple things too.... if you're T and the bomb is planted, don't fucking peek corners. OBVIOUSLY. But they do it, and they get the kill that ONE round, so they keep doing it and throw 4 other rounds.

In that case, you'd just have to ignore their dumb baits and don't bother criticizing their moves however dumb it may be. In the end, it's just matchmaking, and nothing important will be gained/lost from it. Also sounds like if they just dick around, it'd be pretty difficult to coordinate stuff with them at all.

Many players are using the word "bait" when someone actually ditches them. Basically one guy pushes into site while another hides behind the wall and doesn't help him. Then the first guy proceeds to say "stop baiting" or "fucking baiter" Is this a thing now or people are just confused? For me baiting means getting the focus of an enemy so your teamate can get an easy kill, so when you bait for someone, it is actually a very team oriented and good play. Can someone clarify this? Thanks

This is not what baiting is. Baiting is indeed what you describe, and it can take various forms, but sitting idle while a team mate pushes is certainly not one of them.

Baiting, as I've seen it used, is when one guy uses their teammates as "bait" to get kills.
So you make some noise, guy peeks, kills your teammate, and you trade.
It's usually negative though, because people do it to pad their stats rather than take objectives.

Whenever I hear or use it in a negative light it is usually because someone is playing like a pussy. Find them alive at the end of rounds and always last into a site. Usually they aren't good at it either. Also if they don't go in for the trade frags and add a second or two delay on their peek. Baiting can be good in the right context.

I think the context is ok to be used both ways. When you use live bait to catch a fish, you don't always catch a fish, and you don't always get your bait back. It depends on how good you are at using your bait.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I still think people do not use it correctly as hiding behind the wall not even trying to trade kill has nothing to do with baiting. Also I love when I say don't push, but my teamate does it anyways and then call me baiter... some people...

Absolutely. It's called "Recoil master". You can find it in the workshop I think almost everyone who's good at cs:go have or is using this map regularly.
