On a completely tangential point I wish EVO had a set that was nearly as flashy as this. Wes pulls off the craziest, most crowd pleasing shit possible every single game (and has it pulled on him all the time). EVO was really tame in terms of combo video potential compared to like any other tournament in the same time frame. Edit: Hax losing to Shroomed. I'm going to assume it was a Doc which would continue Hax's streak of getting bopped by having no matchup experience against mid tiers. | ||

Shroomed then went on to beat S2j with Sheik too. Looks like his Sheik is pretty on point now. Haven't seen his doc in a while. | ||
