Huh, so there's a new turn but I haven't received any email about it. Does anyone else have this problem? I requested that the turn is resent. I guess it'll come eventually, just a little late maybe, but I'm really eager to see how a battle went and waiting isn't fun :/

It's been a couple of hours now and I still haven't got the email. I requested it to be resent and I checked that my gmail should receive emails just fine. I'll go to sleep soon, but I really hope I'll have the turn in my email when I wake up or I won't have time since I gotta go to work.

I'm happy to hold the turn if you have issues when you wake up.

I could also change your email addy and request a resend if you have an alternate one.

I had some problems submitting new 2h files to llamaserver yesterday - my original got registered but a slight amendment did not.

Newbie asks out of curiosity: What's a good benchmark for a successful expansion phase? I don't know if I should be trying to plop a fort down after my second new province or what.

You want 10 provinces and at least a fort in construction by the end of year 1 for "average" expansion.

Mine has been absolute shite because I never play Roman nations and forgot standards hue.

Sorry for double post, but everything is fine now. Changing my email address took care of the problem. Also, I've finally met my first neighbors. Hello Ermor and Mictlan.

Mictlan: stay out of Far Bridge. Your relatively big army is next to it and I'm sure it's a tempting target, but there are better independent targets adjacent. Far Bridge is next to my capital and I will crush any army that enters there. The nearby Lace Sands has weak independents and produces much more resources. Also from that province there's more room to expand north to other independent provinces.

Besides, a war between two players this early just means that the participants waste all their resources and gold on something other than conquering the remaining independent provinces. Both lose while all other players win.
