From waht it looks like; he just gets away playing it passive during fireball poke by akuma; and the combo of ultra and super is just really easy to abuse. The green / purple circle at the bottom is their Ultra meter. You gain it from getting it / absorbing fireballs Akuma's one is very hard to combo into, that's why you don't see it | ||

The great thing about fighting games is the barrier to spectating is basically 0. And unlike other real life sports (and some esports) the game is just continuous action. | ||
