Always get credit when not using top tier characters. It's what made JWong so popular and undisputed in MvC2 he was a winner while using low tier characters at times. And the tiers for MvC2 are huge difference.

Which is a real shame too because P4 was great this year. And the Japan-Bananamerica 5v5 was great too. Definitely going to be getting back into P4A after seeing that.
Rumor is that Atlus has an announcement later on about a P4A update, so that could shake things up a bit.
Yeah, I'm definitely excited for this. Unfortunately, I won't be able to hear it until tomorrow most likely since it's supposed to be announced after SF4 ;.;

No region locking will yield much better finals this year, for all of the complaining and drama regarding what it does or doesn't do for the local scenes it will definitely benefit the global finals by producing a much more competitive tournament.

I've got my ticket already, it's 4 months away and I cannot wait.
The quality of the games does not bring the viewers. I do not care for a Korean A vs. Korean B matches, without someone to cheer for (relatable and charismatic figure) I will not sit in front of the pc. There will be zero hype for the WCS finals with the current format.
Well last year's WCS finals was widely considered a flop also and it had a ton of great names there too. the Games were terrible though so everyone hated on it when it was over.
We'll see how this year goes, I firmly believe it'll be far and away better than last year.

No he'll get boo'd for the simple fact he's Chris G and the majority of people don't like him. There may not be a single relevant player in any game that truly hates him, but those who are more fans than than they are players like to see him lose and crack under pressure.

Forreals. I think it's because the 3d characters have "realistic" proportions throughout their animations, and the stiff animations don't gelp either. With games like SF4, character proportions are exaggerated for a split moment once a new animation move begins. Like if Ryu punches, his arm (among other things like facial expressions) gets slightly bigger for a split second.
