The funny thing is the East is so pathetically bad that whoever wins only has to play the Pacers (likely) or Hawks. Another pair of meh teams. Refs have bailed Melo out a few times already. Too many phantom calls this game. | ||

They have one of the best coaches, defence and system with great ball movement (when Rondo + Pierce are distributing). Garnett is also still a beast when it counts. Missing Rondo really hurts them, and anyone who thought they were better without him (because of their mid season stretch) were clearly underestimating what Rondo can really do for a basketball team. They really put their eggs in one basket, much like Chicago. | ||

This team was one game above .500 in one of the weakest conferences in modern history. Doesn't matter at this point. They are going to lose this game by 30 and the team will be taken apart next year. Celtics have more turnovers than field goals ffs. They have scored less than 15pts in at least 6 quarters in this series. The only reason their "defense" looks good is because their up against a team that goes iso 30% of the time and has 2 ballhogging shooters (Melo and JR smith) who shoot 15-25 times per night and only hit 30%. | ||
