It's funny how guys like D12 and D Will throw their coaches under the bus and don't realise how much of a good thing they're on until it's gone.

Plus they have up and coming Jordan Hill who can fill the void in a way. Really expecting Goudelock to get some playing time next year as a backup to Kobe instead of Jodie Meeks. He was much more consistent than Meeks and is more versatile. Blake will be the backup to Nash most likely unless the Lakers decide to amnesty him. All in all, the Lakers are going to be making some major moves this offseason. And even still, they will have to pay a hefty tax simply because they can't shed all their contracts and still compete in a competitive Western Conference. Mentioning Hill in the same conversation as Gasol is laughable. All I can say is that if Gasol never plays as a Laker again they better get something for him, otherwise they let an All-Star walk for free.
I'm not saying that Hill is a Gasol. Gasol is a better scorer, can run the offense, block shots, and has a great heart.
However, the Lakers may amnesty Gasol simply because he is such a burden on the salary cap, and therefore Jordan Hill can fill the void in a way. Is it ideal? Absolutely not, but you can't have everything you want. I don't think they want Gasol to "walk for free", its just that they have to due to the amount of money they pay.

its a wonderful day, hopefully the Lakers will continue sitting in mediocrity for a long time to come. Im hoping next year i get to enjoy a completely Laker free playoff though

Why amnesty him when he's an expiring contract tied to a 7 foot body that has some of the most unique skills in the league? Just trade him if you really want to rid yourself of the contract.

I really hope they don't trade or amnesty him at all. Yea, you can trade him too I guess. A lot of teams would be interested in him so I hope as a Lakers fan that we can get a good deal. Preferably a second perimeter scorer that can take the load off of Kobe?

Nuggets on defense are just so disjointed sometimes.

lololol Lakers fans talking about signing Jennings, but then again they're also talking about Morris for Rose and making Kobe a player-coach.

Jennings is fools gold. They'd be better keeping 40 year old Nash.
|
Jennings still thinks the Bucks are gonna win in 6

Jeez, Curry's range is ridiculous.

Fuck me, Curry really is a top 10 player.

and then steph curry happens

Can someone PM me a link to a site where you can watch archived games? I won't be able to catch the 4th qtr of this game.

Just Bruce Bowen him on a jumpshot. His ankles are brittle.
