Lebron to the Lakers after the 2014 season.

Going to be a fun offseason in LA. The circus has just begun.

Lebron is never going back to the cavs so long as Gilbert owns them.
I mean he also probably doesn't want to go back to cleveland after living in south beach, too.

What makes you think he is yelling at Mitch?
Anyways, Gasol might have just played his last game as a Laker. Don't think the Lakers will re-sign him since he is a huge salary burden and is getting older. Plus they have up and coming Jordan Hill who can fill the void in a way.
Really expecting Goudelock to get some playing time next year as a backup to Kobe instead of Jodie Meeks. He was much more consistent than Meeks and is more versatile. Blake will be the backup to Nash most likely unless the Lakers decide to amnesty him.
All in all, the Lakers are going to be making some major moves this offseason. And even still, they will have to pay a hefty tax simply because they can't shed all their contracts and still compete in a competitive Western Conference.

Mentioning Hill in the same conversation as Gasol is laughable.
All I can say is that if Gasol never plays as a Laker again they better get something for him, otherwise they let an All-Star walk for free.

Only problem is Gasol's value is limited despite the fact he's still pretty productive.
Rebuilding teams aren't going to go near his age or his contract.
And then you've got to think what sort of player(s) you want to replace Gasol and are they even available?
It might be worth just letting Pau expire next year. I don't know if the market's there for him.

Wow, that was like a 30 footer from Curry?

ROFL.
Still can't be mad that the Spurs were the ones that beat us. Too many damn likeable players on that roster, and have to always have mad respect for Popovich too.

So if Kobe plays do the Lakers still get swept or maybe snag a game (or dare I say two!)?
|
Christ, I remember when Dwight first came into the NBA scene, and folks were losing their shit over his giant ass shoulders and immense defensive play. These days he just looks like a giant baby out there. He should never have gone to the Lakers.

That's what's funny about the talk of Kobe coming back in October. Coming back to what? This current Lakers group isn't winning a championship, even if he's healthy.. They're gonna be spending $180 million to be a 5-8 seed.

You're overreacting due to the media. He still averaged a double-double this year despite being injured and looked better the second half of the season. You still want him on your team no matter what.
