He was trying to go for the steal, and if Westbrook hadn't started to spin away from him at the last second, he likely would have gotten it or at least knocked it out of bounds, and there wouldn't have been a collision. What would the purpose of intentionally fouling him be? | ||

Westbrook was going in for an obvious timeout (you can see the other players already walking towards their benches) and Beverley was trying to catch him off guard. There's no reason to intentionally foul before a timeout. | ||
