Last year when they beat the Lakers in the playoffs and tons of fans were watching outside the stadium on the jumbo screen, they didn't even seem like they wanted to start rioting afterwards. Being from LA where the sports fan motto is "riot when we win; riot when we lose" it was refreshing. | ||

I actually resent that statement. It is one person flicking off a dickhead player that consistently gets into arguments with others. Blame it on the refs if you want, Noah has always been typical Noah. Im not saying this lady is not a retard, she probably is, she seems like a typical "real housewife of (insert city here)" but that doesn't mean we're all the same way. I agree with jibba here, its just a finger dude. How many times to fans throw shit at players when they're leaving and yell profanities at them. This is nothing. Kind of like the Grizz without Gay from a couple of years back. Think there's any truth to it? Would the Dubs be doing as well as they are if Lee was still playing? | ||

They look good against SA without him though, and a lot of that has to do with Bogut. In the regular season vs all 29 teams, and in playoff matchups vs other teams I think they can survive without him but not enough to go far consistently. He's overrated in terms of value but he does have some use. ETA: With Rudy Gay there was a clear dropoff in his play. In fact it is pretty much a mystery as to what exactly happened. With Lee it isn't quite the same since he is largely the same guy he's always been. Memphis could replace Rudy's production since what he brung to the table was mostly replaceable. Golden State is largely getting by on Carl Landry, Draymond Green and Festus Ezuli replicating Lee's production. No telling how long that can last but its a good thing to watch. | ||

I agree it would be different if Splitter was fit and or they were playing a team like the Grizz with legit players at the PF and C. The Spurs killed the Dubs in the regular season playing Splitter and Duncan together (but then again this was all due to them constantly attacking Lee's horrible defence). | ||
