Dude that was a terriiiible session. So you're telling me the only reason things ran smoothly was because neil kept track of literally everything for the players and after 39 weeks they haven't figured out their character sheets? really?

So that's odd. And I thought for sure they were trolling. I mean JP also is a dick/trolling the party. But he also never called someone a bitch, even if it was in role playing. I mean I can see how that Geoff crossed a line. But you just say sorry and don't do it again.

it's not even alleged dickery, there's clear evidence of it but the point is it's clearly roleplaying. not impressed with JP whatsoever, even though I have a feeling that incontrol probably escalated the situation.

Pretty much constant rudeness on rollplay, have been hoping jp would do something about it, especially the constant rudeness to the women on the show and of women in general, but one comment to ryan and he's off the show? Pretty much shows jp needs to rethink what he's doing.

tbh I liked the story neil presented in the show but I felt like jp's character are just entirely too detrimental to the party. Those attributes are like... put the child out on the tide worthy right there...

un-subbed due to no Geoff. Geoff made Rollplay, and a lot of people say Gen was the annoying/terrible player but in my mind it was always fucking JP, just no one could really call him out on it.

oh and does anyone remember that episode JP was abusing the shit out of Gen for 'reading chat'?

you realize abigael (and ritch from ehbon) have a roughly similar intelligence score compared to alice, right? JP choosing with his usual tact and good taste to make her a childlike idiot was part of the roleplay, and before all this fuckin' drama I think the character would have worked out fine, especially if JP had wanted to portray her as able to learn and improve her critical thinking during the campaign. if not, just psych her up and point her at the enemy - that 30 hp and +5 to damage was hysterical.

As a viewer, there have been a number of times in Rollplay where I felt like Geoff crossed a line in regards to his treatment of Gen. Times where I thought for sure that Gen or JP or someone would have addressed him in private after the show and asked him to tone it down. Tonight was definitely one of those times; there's no doubt to me that Geoff crossed the line there. So I sympathize with JP being upset.

But the thing about behavior is that if no one calls you out on it, then you're going to think they're ok with it. If Gen or JP never told Geoff that they had a problem with his behavior, then how can he be expected to know that they have a problem? It's a fact of life that people rag on each other to various extents. It's all in good fun and if anyone gets upset they deal with it person to person and give others a chance to change. Because that's how adults act. If someone says nothing time after time and then explodes over one incident, that's a much worse way of dealing with the situation for everyone involved.
