You guys think this whole faster egg hatching thing might be bad for the pokemon inside?
I mean they hardly even get the chance to develop and dream their baby dreams. 5 minutes after they're born you've ridden on your bike through goldenrod city for 250 steps while carrying Volcarona and this stuff... no wonder so many pokemon turn out with messed up abilities and natures.
Then you discard the ones that were failed experiments after separating them from their mothers. They have to fend for themselves in the wild. But those are the lucky ones.
The mutations that are born with the characteristics you like instantly have to train harder than any other trainer has ever trained their pokemon. They're stock jammed with vitamins and then go through all sorts of training but only in specific areas. They're not well rounded so some are slow and dumb but hit hard and others are smart but can barely walk. Then by the end of the week they're level 100 and have completely missed their childhood. And they don't even know what they've missed.
But that's no the end of it. After that they've got to compete against similar monstrosities. The kind that demolish the Elite 4 while 10 levels down.

Obv not serious? I think the ethics of pokemon breeding (or the entire premise of pokemon for that matter) has been on our minds for as long as we've been playing the games, but we don't care cuz the games are so damn fun

I think it's fair to say that there is some time dilation in Pokemon. I doubt that I traveled across all of Kalos, got eight badges, foiled Team Flare's evil plot, and defeated the Elite Four in a day and a half...

I did that, played 30 hours on the first weekend. Slowed down immensly though, only 80 hours up until now.
Got access to the Sushi restaurant now, that place is expensive and trolling as hell.

So, the IV checker guy in Kiloude city, does he tell you which IVs in the pokemon have 31 or just which are the highest? Everywhere I've looked just says that he'll tell you the IVs and that's not helpful ;~;
