I haven't really played competitively since Gen 3, and even back then it was on simulators so yeah this is the first time I'm actually doing this breeding-grinding ingame.

Realistically you could probably have just put a Zangoose/Seviper trade request up on GTS and someone probably would have taken it.

Catching Zangoose agaist a Seviper horde is like 10x easier though because you just need an area ground-type move that OHKOs the Sevipers and not the Zangoose. 40 Atk non-STAB Bulldoze did it for me.

Never actually ran into one. Got my Seviper off wonder trade.

Do they gang up on the Seviper and kill it cause they hate it?

WOW thats awesome. Since RNG is going to be a lot harder to decipher (and probably harder to execute, compare BW2 to BW), its going to reward legit grinders a lot more. I'm glad they are adding a lot of things in game to make it easier to achieve closer to perfect pokemon.

Everything can pretty much be found in smogan. Or you can go to pokemon showdown, where there is a pokemon emulator where you can create your own team and thus you can easily determine what item or stuff are banned etc etc.

Use a level 1 pokemon catch Yveltal then die to Flare boss so you get sent to center (Catch rate is so high a quick ball should always catch him)

Jesus christ, this thread makes me realize how little I know about pokemon games. Came here to post that I was enjoying it, and that it's a really nice improvement on the series. How does breeding work? What is IV? Is there a good primer on this shit anywhere? I feel like I don't even possess the required vocabulary.
