some 2v2 maps may need vetos depending on what you want to play, and as expected, there are very strong attacks before 8 minutes that force you to react radically to defend well. i think that zerg and terran (midgame) because of how strong infestors and bio are. it's popular, but your random teammates will make lots of mistakes, and it'll be difficult to open economically unless you have a particular map-set | ||

 Technically, EE and SubCom as well but I don't like them that much. They don't seem that smooth, in my opinion. Maybe Warcraft III + custom maps(World War etc) but I don't know how active they are nowadays. The early C&C games were pretty nice...but yeah. RTS golden age is long over, nowadays people play MOBAs. Ah, and Battle Realms was rather cool as well. | ||

Blizzard is making some needed changes that I think will make the game's overall popularity go up. I know I wait less time when searching for a team game than 1v1. I think more people play team. Could be wrong though. Hopefuly they bring in clan support. | ||

If you still haven't gotten one, PM me. I got two just laying about after the latest waves. Supreme Commander is much better than SC2 in larger teams. The starting builder being stronger than any of the early units means you have to fight commander to commander early to be aggressive. | ||
