Which are a fair bit behind his old ones for pretty much the entirety of the run save for the last few missions. But it sure is nice to see a SA run go that far. ^^

As far as I can remember he was behind his old WR all of the time until 'A home in the hills'

I assume there are savestates etc available to prevent having to spam the shit out of starters for people looking to practice? I guess i could just do my own once though :3 And whichever is easiest, where would i find information on it? :D Getting kind of sick practicing OoT child dungeons and failing, im not cut out for Zelda 64 runs or SM64 lol. Wasted money on a Wii :<

None are more "difficult" than each other other than Yellow having significantly higher resets before a viable run can be had. I hear that red nidoran% is pretty easy and forgiving (and WR capable). Just do whatever you like most. Which pokemon is easiest to start speedrunning? I want to try my hand at it :D. He'll probably be back at WW soon. On August 06 2013 17:49 Plexa wrote: I would say either Blue, Yellow or Gold by virtue of them being more or less completely mapped out. Just do whatever you like most. Yellow is in no way easy. It has a lot more resets at the start to get a pokemon to start the run and the entire way through has a type disadvantage. The chances of getting to the Elite Four are relatively low, and then the chances of dying to them are very high. Blue is pretty easy in that you just have to reset for a good squirtle and there are less things that can screw you over. It's generally the one people start with because of it being well mapped out and easier to finish.
