Maybe that would be a good idea. My favorite games to watch were definitely KoF and SCV. The KoF finals for being so close, and the SCV finals for showing that a bottom-tier character could make it to the top.

I'll be watching one of those games next MLG.

ST (nostalgia goggles), KoF, Marvel were probably the most hype for me. I still don't really get how KoF plays though, heh.

as a person who had watched like 2 professional FG matches before EVO:

holy shit, what a great way to spend my days. buncha great games (though not the AE finals). wow, so much more respect for FG and FGC now

yeah i agree completely. day 1 of AE was pretty amazing as well. if i had to pick an order it would be KoF finals, ST Tournament of Legends, AE Day 1, and Marvel finals.

KoF was the best final for me, AE dissappointing but only because infiltration was just too good and no one brought their game like he did.

In my opinion, I don't think I like the whole day system of EVO where you play everything up to Top 8 within 1 day. Maybe it's more efficient and easier to run without hurting a person competing in multiple games, but idk. Or at least make Top 8 3 out 5 for every game (except SFxT of course).

My favorite portion of EVO was probably the AE top 32 on Friday. Marvel and KOF top 8 tie for second.

Pretty disappointing top 8 for AE but that's not something you can predict. It could have just as easily been as crazy as Marvel or KOF with that sort of top 8.
