+ Show Spoiler + So Viera are totally confirmed in lore now, we just haven't seen them yet. It's been noted that they reside in Dalmasca. I'm placing bets on them being a playable race in 5.0. Also, It's pretty interesting that Ivalice's Dalmasca and relevant history with Rasler and Ashelia from FF12 is being ported to FFXIV so similarly. Of course they're twins now instead of husband and wife, but they even hint of an Ashe leading the revolt against the Garleans in Dalmasca. Pretty awesome since I really like Ivalice. https://i.imgur.com/ogl0jw6.jpg If you look at that world map, they mention that the Dalmascan desert is southwest of Nagxia on the eastern continent of Othard. I'd wager we're headed there to help liberate them from the Garleans in the next expansion. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + That was hands-down the best primal fight since Thordan imo. Really impressed with the presentation, music and visuals of tsukoyomi. Difficulty was a bit on the easier side but still a step up from byakko which is nice. Rest of the MSQ was excellent as well. They are starting to setup a lot for 5.0 and I really enjoy the direction we are going in right now. 24-man was actually hilarious going in blind and seeing construct 7 dance all over us while people failed simple maths. also visuals and music were top-notch again. Woops grats! How long had you been working on that fight ? This group in particular for 2 months, me for longer with a prior group. When this group started, there were no Legends, so it was a cool accomplishment (so many 6-2 or 7-1 carries these days). And why do you have protect on your hotbars six times? :p Haha, those are different macros for dungeons to cast protect at the beginning, then remove them in favor of another cross class ability. | ||

I was in line right away and was SOL. Really pissed how they handled it. Last year it took 10 hours to sell out. They're selling a new lore book so I'm gonna hate missing out on that. | ||

 Resubbed to WoW recently and man it's hard going back. From story to combat to graphics to music to mechanics, I just prefer XIV by quite a bit in most areas. One thing I gotta give them credit for in Legion is Suramar. WoW's storytelling is often a rushed, jumbled mess to me with so many extra side characters and stories that you have no idea what is fully going on unless you put in time looking it up outside the game. Suamar felt like a refreshing change of pace, where they spent a lot of time hashing out a singular story. It was also pretty funny seeing how similar the Sisters of the Moon mechanic in Tomb of Sargaras was to Tsukuyomi. I wonder if the FFXIV devs borrowed from it or it just happened to be a coincidence. I'm just dying for some new content D: I don't have much to do in XIV these days. 4.4 can't come fast enough. | ||

after killing ultimate weapon (which was a bit easier than ucob sadly) I have not played it much. have not yet tried out the monster hunter world crossover fight yet so there is stuff to do, just not as exciting^^ | ||
