More than half of the penalties this year have been bullshit. It was a racing incident. Happened all the time in the 90s and earlier, but now that we have dumbshit stewards, everything is a penalty.

You should have been there Monza 06 when the stewards ruled that Fernando Alonso "impeded" Massa during qualifying. Massa was never less than 100 metres behind Alonso on the track... edit: Safety is a concern, thus the strickt rules on driving standards. Blame Michael Schumacher for a lot of it - he was the one who drove Hill off the road in 95, tried to do the same with JV 97, put Alonso on the grass at 300km/h in 03, etc etc.

![]() Button should of won and won so i guess it was fair as that safety car ruined the 1-2 for Button/Hulkenburg, but still the back markers bunching Hamilton and Hulkenburg up causing a stupid overtake opportunity which then see's a slippy Hulkenburg crash into Lewis and boom it's over ![]() Vettel got lucky i suppose, then again so did Alonso, meh was a good race but not the way i wanted it to end ![]()

He drove into Lewis and took him out of the race... there wasn't a chance of over-taking into T1 he should have waited and been smart and made a over-take into T4 with the aid of DRS, not just lunging into T1 in wet conditions. It was the move of an inexperianced driver, Lewis had it covered and Hulkenberg just drove into him.... talking of idiot posts.. Hulk was on the inside going in to turn 1, Lewis left his braking EXTREMELY late to try and stop the pass but one of the Caterhams was in front of him so he could not go as wide as he wanted. Hulk rear slipped a bit, but that's a racing incident. He didn't bash him straight off the track. Watching the slow mo I guess you could argue that Hulk is not in control and sliding quite a bit. Still, I say racing incident rather than 'causing a collision.'

Lewis had it covered and made the corner while trying to go round the back markers... Lewis made the corner without a problem, then Nico drove into him becasue he broke too late, it wasn't a racing incident it was an error in jugment that caused a collision and a retirement from the race. And there isn't anything to argue, he did loose control, he did crash into Lewis who left him space and was in total control of his own car and he did recive a penalty. Not only that he went to talk to Lewis after the race and appologise for taking him out of his last race with Mclaren.

Wohooooo! Yeah didn't have the best car by a mile again....and still out performed in qualifying by better drivers in worst cars... This year should of seen the end of Red Bull's dominance and it should be a good interesting competitive season next year.

They won the constructors a race before the end and won the WDC in a season that took away there greatest peace of development. Next season there are only small rule changes, which would make redbull the favourites for next season, given that the only car that has been able to compete with them was the Mclaren and they have more than proven there incompetence this season with Lewis.. How are they going to fair without him? Unless Ferrari can give alonso a half decent car, vettel looks to be in good shape to get a 4th WDC

RedBull were great after the summer break, for about 5-6 races in a row Vettel and red bull destroyed the competition, then Mclaren and Ferrerai got some upgrades together and then on it should of been a Mclaren walk out, but there car failed them numerous time for Hamilton. Alonso had the worst car of the lot and finished a few points behind Vettel! His days of being in the best car and walking championships look over to me. Next season should and (hope) will be more of what happend at the end of this year with races being won by race drivers not cars.

Even though Jensen won the last race, he wasn't on the pace of Lewis, who had done an extra stop and was still ahead of him, let alone in the overall championship standings where he only looked like a contender after the first race or two. If to where to give vettel and Jensen equal cars, vettel would (and did this season) destory him. I'm not writing off next year by any means as it looks like Massa has finally woken up again, but redbull start next season with probablly the best car all round, and with one of the top 3 drivers in F1.

If you swap Vettel and Alonso in cars, Alonso walks it. Button only struggled because he couldnt get to grips with his car, he had the excat same set up as Lewis in multiple races and he couldn't even get it into the top 10 shootout in qualifying. It was just not Jenson's year. He dominated yesterdays race too, i don't know how you can say otherwise? He and Hulkenburg had a 44second lead ahead of the pack until the SC came out...it was a 2 horse race, and i would of backed Jenson to comfertably drive that home ahead of Hulkenburg. But even after losing that lead he was still there and ready. I not it is crazily unfair to spout these accusations around but i just don't rate Vettel as a driver yet, when he has struggled and there car has underperformed (see begining of the season).

Not only that but Lewis out quali'd him too and two out of the three practice sessions was faster, jenson dominated nothing, he was just constantly fast and picked up the win after nico took Lewis out. You can make excuses for performance but it would be a waste of time. Lewis out performed jenson hands down, and should have been in with a shot at the title had reliability and rookie drivers not put and end to his hopes.

What point are you trying to make? The last point in the race in which both mclaren a where on track, Lewis was p1, nico was p2 and Jensen was p3... And he wasn't that close either...
