Not cheating, just having the best car without a doubt last seasons.

From a spectator point of view, I would like ALL of them to have the same car. I'm pretty sure there would be many upsets, and I'm not talking about Alonso and Vettel, but also coming from "middle-class" drivers. Most of them are not that far away from them skillwise.

We don't want cars that are >.5 faster than the rest, where the only element of randomness is weather, crashes and mechanical failures. We want that, but also drivers being the deciding factor, and this season this didn't happen IMO.

Well, normally the first thing a driver does is complain over team radio. I mean Kobayashi should know best what happened. Did he say something about this? Did someone officially protest against the result, I mean at least Ferrari should have an incentive to protest.

Amazing race, poor result.
In the end the best car won out against the best driver. Alonso had the perfect season and out-drove his car at nearly every single race an amazing performance.

Bring on 2014 and new engines!!

Oh and to clear it up, it wasn't a yellow flag, it was red/yellow to indicate oil on track, hence no penalty for vettel.

According to http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/20481809 1819 update :"There have been some suggestions that Sebastian Vettel may have passed Kamui Kobayashi when yellow lights were flashing. Ferrari technical director Pat Fry says it appears they were yellow and red slippery track flags and not yellows. Therefore, no penalty required."

Yeah he didn't do anything wrong, no need for any penalty. I thought it was a great race, a huge shame for both Hamilton and Hulkenberg and also Alonso. I thought Nico drove so well up to that incident, as I also thought he should be driving the McLaren next year. Good job he isn't because he cost McLaren £10-15m today as Vergne cost Marussia the same. I have no idea how the red bull suspension took that contact and did not break. Insane, but Seb did a decent job after the crash with Senna, possibly more luck because it could have been a penalty (I don't think so but it was more his fault). Grats on three title's on the trot Seb.

What an idiot post. Red Bull was not dominant this year and had plenty of bad luck too. The season was bonkers (in a very good way).

Hulkenberg deserved this win and that penalty was bullshit, just like the first safety car was a bit BS. Great race though.

First safety car was fine. Tons of debris on the track, and this carbon fibre will cut tires like a knife.

Red Bull has not been cheating this year. They were asked to change some engine map settings that were legal in themselves, but the FIA issued what they call a "clarification" - a closing of a loophole. Loopholes are a big part of F1 development - Merc's double effect drs is an example of this. If you can find a way to pass the tests you are legal according to the regulations.

edit: not saying they were cheating in other years. However complaints against them have resulted in test changes.

Just as the Ferrari 2006/7 floor. Or the Renault mass damper from 06. Or the "F-Duct" from 09. Or the double diffuser from 09.

What are you talking about? He drove into Lewis and took him out of the race... there wasn't a chance of over-taking into T1 he should have waited and been smart and made a over-take into T4 with the aid of DRS, not just lunging into T1 in wet conditions.
It was the move of an inexperianced driver, Lewis had it covered and Hulkenberg just drove into him.... talking of idiot posts..
