I hope I am writing it here on the right place and I´m sorry for my English cause I´m from Germany.
Age: I am 20 years old and at the end of the year I am 21 years old.

Previous Minecraft experience: I have played maybe 2 years. Last time I was playing Minecraft is 1/2 year ago and I played just on survival Servers because it´s the spirit of Minecraft in my eyes. I played on like 5-6 Servers and was a harvester, builder, collector and just sometimes for the well of my friends and the guild a slayer. I was in almost every situation I can imagine.
Introduction: Many things were said but not enough. First some things of me. I´m a nice guy, shy at the first time i meet new people but can fall in laughter if they are funny, sometimes happy and sometimes grumpy, just like all humans can be. I´m a bit awkward, thats what the community said where I played the last time. And of course I´m a Brony. I think i won´t have to tell everything of MLP I know. One of the things why I want to play on this server is a good community because the quote: "This freedom to do anything is why we love playing here. Everyone can contribute to a project, and we all work together to make cool stuff. If this freedom means extra work for us in making sure we don't get griefed by people from outside the community, then that is a price that is completely worth paying.". Thats the kind of spirit I never have seen in Minecraft communitys ever, and that´s what i call to play friendly with other people. Even more I love when i read it was the quote: "it is because I want to prevent our players from having their experience ruined by people who don't share our completely alien concepts of honesty, loyalty, generosity, kindness, and laughter.", if I am the "Bad luck Brian" and the shadowbolts think I am not this person who belongs to the community I will accept this.What kind of building is in my mind? Maybe a huge Castle, maybe somethings underground like a second World or a lost temple, maybe a flying city or village. I got a bright and huge fantasy but i need some time for it and i think i try to show it with a "not to big " castle on a nice hill. My second thing why I want to play here is that I want to learn English better, because to read something or to write is not the same how to spell it or to talk with people, but I have made some Experience with it and I´m not a total filly in this thing. Last but not least, everybody who wants to know more about me (I think thats complete normal) can just send me a PM. I will reply it after i read it.
Questions I´ve got just one: Is it possible to change from Unicorn to Pegasi or other after I decide a class? If it is so than I will need a day to think about it and to decide.

I added the server address and logged in, walked around abit and was amazed. Oh, no problem at all! Anyone can wander around and look at what we've made, no application needed. Those are only required for build permissions, but you can still hang out and chat or just go sightseeing.
If you want to join up and have build permissions on the server, talk to me again -- otherwise I'll just assume that you wrote this up because you wanted to visit, but not necessarily hang around.

I really like the characters, their development and the resulting stories. Some weeks ago, while I was surfing this sub forum for the X-COM thread, I discovered this very topic. Having played Minecraft now and then for quite some time now - but only alone, I was interested. After reading the Introduction I was downright intrigued. And after I finally decided to take a look in person, I have to say: This is one awesome project, you guys have going here. I love all the detail, the little signs and messages. It took me some time to find out about the introduction video although you start directly in front of it^^ ... this sure is a nice feature. I will visit again, maybe tonight and I hope, I am not a complete stranger anymore. P.S. Can't believe that I did not mention that my buddies use to call me "the walking movie encyclopedia" - I think movies are my most important hobby...
Man, that was a really awesome write-up, and I'm glad you felt welcomed in the server. We'd love to have you around if you're keen on playing with us. I've given you build permissions, and I've set you up as a Pegasus temporarily since I don't know what you'd want to play. Accepted and added! Welcome to Liquestria. I should be playing a lot over the next several days, so if you have any questions just hit me up in-game. Since you're a Unicorn, I heavily recommend (as opposed to just recommend) downloading the Liquestria Client archive as mentioned in the OP. Those hotkeys are such great utility for Unicorn spells.
I should be around a lot more over the next few days, and hopefully this update drought doesn't happen again. Raelcun has been made an Alicorn, too, so maybe I can do that whole "delegating" thing I've heard so much about.

Introduction: I found this group by a friend of a friend on Skype (Scintillia) when i told him my idea of hosting a local server for bronies. I explored a bit and did some research and am so far loving this entire server. Haven't been to many but i know of the horrors that griefers have done and would never think about doing that (unless i built it and dont like it). But everyone i met was friendly and nice. I hope that i can join everyone in this server and help create something amazing. The fact that there are classes adds so much more to it, Just being a regular player looking at all that was amazing but add in the extra mods and WHAM you've got one awesome server. Hope to see everyone again soon on it.

That's the sphax bdcraft texture pack. It looks like it's 64x64, but it could be the 128x128 version. It also usually isn't full of artifacts like that, if you run mcpatcher after each patch.

Previous Minecraft experience: I've mostly played on single player. I've been playing the game for several months, but have yet to find a online server I've been interested in.
Introduction: I just joined the herd last week, and I thought what better way to embrace my new passion then merge my two favorite things together? I quickly began looking for a MLP minecraft server. I played on alot of big servers for a while....but they weren't a lot of fun. Either griefed to death to the point I could walk for days and couldn't find much untouched land, older players had an advantage on me due to their gear and I got camped, or it was "pay to win". Some servers momentarily hooked me due to cool plugins with classes and such, but it was either a lie, unimplanted, pay to get good classes, or made the game too unbalanced. So I find this server, small, cool abilities that are in fact there with more to come, yet still balanced, and it's MLP! The fact that you guys are so honest with each other and rarely get griefed is a plus....an amazing plus. I don't know if I can offer much to you guys, but I would be honored to join this 20% cooler minecraft server :D

We banned someone today who had stolen from apparently half the chests on the server. Including countless diamonds, thousands upon thousands of cooked stone, iron blocks, gold, hard to get nether items, dyed wool, dyes, tools, enchantment tables and probably more that I can't remember at the moment.
We raided his house and took basically all of his valuables and will be putting them in storage most likely. He took mostly from inactive players including some spots that I have honestly no idea how he found.
We don't have really any anti griefing plugins, but we have lots of nice cheater plugins that let us track when you do grief and undo it all.
Congratulations, you now have two pissed off Alicorns.

Not so much pissed off as baffled facepalming. Why join a server where people give you free stuff if you ask - up to and including diamonds - and then go stealing stuff from peoples' chest stash? The freaking storage building (you know, the common warehouse that every person on the server shares and from which you can take whatever you want) has like 300 diamonds, yet he was all, nope, I'm stealing 12 and 20 diamonds from these other two players instead.
So much wat.
Anyway, I just cleared out his backpack which had some valuables (we'll put them in storage), and then I'm pretty much undoing everything he's ever done on the server with a single command line. What a waste of time.

Added, added, and added. =) It's rare that there's so many applicants at once. Normally I do a bit of an introduction and talk to people in-game or via PMs, but in this case I'll just set you guys up with permissions and classes and let you get on with it. I recommend you all hit the storage facility in the Marketplace (east of the Town Circle) and pick up some starting gear.
Regarding what you should build and where, that's entirely up to you guys -- there's projects of all kinds scattered around the server. Just remember the common rule: The closer it is to town, the better it has to look, and it should be themed in the spirit (not the letter) of the show -- or, as I'm fond to say, "No antigravity houses made of lava."
Also, if you start a project in or near town and then abandon it before it's done, or if you create a structure that doesn't look very good at all, it will probably be removed or moved. I recently had to remove a couple of buildings whose designers remained offline for weeks and showed no intent of ever coming back. No biggie as far as I'm concerned, I'm just giving you a heads-up.

I'm sorry, but I have to reject this application.
+ Show Spoiler [Reasons] +One: "simona" is either a false or a completely new Minecraft ID, as I was unable to find any record of it. You have also never been on the server, so there is literally no record of you that I can look at before I add you. I need to know that the ID is valid before I add it. Two: "Pegasi Earth Pony" is not a proper class.  Three: Your application was too short -- barely a line to tell us who you are. I realize that an essay is a lot to ask of people who might not even be sure if they'd like to stick around and play with us, but we do need to get to know you a little bit before we can trust you with build permissions. This is a small server, and while we're happy to accommodate people from outside of our community, we do have to be careful about who we let in. Four, and I realize this is a very elitist point: If you aren't very good at Minecraft, we aren't really set up to accommodate you. Liquestria is a labor of love for a lot of people and we want it to look as good as possible. We should have a freebuild world soon with relaxed rules, but for now there's little we can do to welcome you.
There are other good pony servers out there, though. If you're looking for an MLP server with classes, you could check out Ponycraft or MyLittleMinecraft. Otherwise, see this comprehensive list of MLP servers. Good luck finding a good home.
